"Uh..." Mo Yu was montarily taken aback by Zi Yan's explanation; he had thought it was due to the aura of Zi Huo. But upon reflection, it made sense. The Ancient Void Dragon clan is inherently sensitive to spatial forces, and since spatial energy is linked to the void, it was no surprise that Zi Yan had sensed it.
"Erald Blue Crystal, guarded by a pack of Storm Wolves, huh..." Mo Yu mused as he rubbed his chin. "Zi Yan, how strong is this Storm Wolf pack?"
"They're manageable. Their leader, the Storm Wolf King, is rely a typical Tier 5 magical beast. Among fifth-grade beasts, it's not particularly outstanding. However, in the deep mountains, the Storm Wolf pack is quite a force. Even so sixth-grade beasts prefer to avoid them. After all, their pack consists of hundreds of second-grade, third-grade, and even fourth-grade Storm Wolves—a mass that could overwhelm even stronger foes," Zi Yan replied with a hint of caution.
Hearing this, Mo Yu furrowed his brow, surprised at the strength of the Storm Wolf pack. Even in Black-Corner Region, they would be considered a second-grade power. Yet the allure of the Erald Blue Crystal ignited his interest. Judging by Zi Yan's description, the crystal must be significantly larger than the one he had previously acquired at the Di Yan Auction House.
If he could absorb this massive Erald Blue Crystal, it might accelerate his Flash Void Breaking Thunder's growth to maturity. And a matured Flash Void Breaking Thunder could finally allow Mo Yu to act on a long-hidden plan.

Shaking off the feeling, he made his way back to the Mo Gang territory. Upon arrival, he noted the upright guards at the gate, silently admiring their discipline. Mo Gang had been evolving day by day, and Mo Yu sensed the guards' auras—each was around the level of a late stage Dou Zhe, evidence of Mo Gang's recent expansion.
As he approached, the guards, recognizing Mo Yu, were montarily stunned before calling out excitedly, "Boss!"
The loud greeting drew the attention of passersby. Mo Yu chuckled, patting one guard on the shoulder before striding inside, leaving the guard in awe.
"Seems like Boss has gotten stronger in the past month. Soon, Mo Gang might have soone in the top ten of the Strong List, rivaling even Wolf Fang or Mountain Splitter," the guard whispered with a grin.
Another guard snickered, "You're behind the tis. Mo Gang already has a top-ten Strong List mber. Lin Yan joined us after being impressed by Boss's strength."
Inside the Mo Gang hall, Mo Yu summoned Fu Ao and two other mbers. After a short wait, he heard footsteps and opened his eyes to find not only Fu Ao and the others but also two new faces.
Noticing Mo Yu's curiosity, Fu Ao quickly explained, "Boss, these are Lan Yan and He Bu, newly joined mbers and top-grade fighters—respectively, a Four-Star Dou Ling and a Two-Star Dou Ling."
"During your month in seclusion, while other factions started selling pills to suppress Fire Poison, our Cold Jade Beads still led in popularity, attracting many talented mbers. Mo Gang has now doubled in size, nearing a hundred mbers, establishing itself as a prominent force in the Inner Academy."
Mo Yu raised an eyebrow, pleased, then turned to Lan Yan and He Bu, who straightened as his silver eyes settled on them. Feeling the intense gaze, as if under the watch of a powerful beast, they quickly lowered their pride and respectfully greeted, "Lan Yan, He Bu, greetings, Boss!"
"No need for formalities. Now that you've joined Mo Gang, we're all brothers."
Mo Yu nodded, satisfied with the additions. Dou Ling experts are powerful figures outside, and in just one month, Mo Gang's strength had grown substantially. After acknowledging the new mbers, Mo Yu directed his attention to Lin Yan.
As he observed Lin Yan's face, he noticed the faintest hint of red in his eyes was barely visible. Nodding approvingly, he remarked, "Looks like the combination of Ice Spirit Beads internally and Cold Spirit Beads externally is quite effective against Fire Poison."
"Yes, indeed. Each ti I consu an Ice Spirit Bead, I feel the Fire Poison recede significantly, and the expelled Ice Spirit Beads, after absorbing the poison, turn blood-red," Lin Yan said, though an awkward expression crossed his face as he recalled the strange process. Yet, despite the odd experience, he was thrilled—this long-standing problem now had a permanent solution.
"With the Fire Poison resolved, isn't it ti to fulfill your promise?" Mo Yu asked with a smile.
"Of course! From now on, Mo Yu, you're my boss. I'm officially part of Mo Gang," Lin Yan replied without hesitation.
Lan Yan and He Bu glanced at each other in surprise at Lin Yan's straightforward declaration. As a top-ten Strong List mber and peak Dou Ling, Lin Yan was a powerful figure; even Lin Xiuya couldn't sway him. Yet here he was, willingly acknowledging Mo Yu as his boss. This increased their respect for Mo Yu even further.
anwhile, Fu Ao and the others remained unfazed, having witnessed the terrifying spiritual power Mo Yu wielded—a power that demanded reverence.
"Now, the reason I called you all here," Mo Yu said, tapping the table to gather everyone's attention.
"What do you need, Boss?" Fu Ao asked.
Lin Yan and the others focused on Mo Yu, waiting for instructions.
"Prepare yourselves. In half a month, Mo Gang will mobilize and venture into the deep mountains!"
"The deep mountains?" Fu Ao and the others exchanged bewildered glances.
The Inner Academy's deep mountains were treacherous, populated by magical beasts, many of high rank. Even academy elders risked danger in those lands. Mo Yu's words left them with a mix of curiosity and trepidation.
"Yes, the Storm Wolf pack in the deep mountains has sothing I need. We'll gather all of Mo Gang's power to confront them and claim it," Mo Yu declared firmly.
"Confront the Storm Wolves?"
Fu Ao and the others stared at Mo Yu in astonishnt. The reputation of the Storm Wolf pack was well-known, yet Mo Yu intended to challenge them head-on. It was indeed a daring ambition.
Even Lin Yan couldn't hide his astonishnt as he looked at Mo Yu. The Storm Wolf Pack, led by the fifth-grade magical beast, the Storm Wolf King, was a powerful tribe composed of hundreds of second, third, and even fourth-grade storm wolves.
Such strength was formidable, and unless the academy itself intervened, the inner academy factions alone would struggle to face this threat.
Seeing the skeptical looks around him, Mo Yu chuckled and reassured them, "Don't worry. I'm not planning to destroy the entire pack—just to retrieve sothing they possess. I'll handle the Storm Wolf King myself; all I need from you is to keep the other wolves occupied."
With that, Mo Yu handed two item blueprints to Fu Ao and instructed, "These are the crafting thods for the Swift Shadow Boots and Guardian Armor. Pass them to Wang Lin and his team; have them shift their focus from refining the Cold Jade Bead to producing these items over the next half month. The Swift Shadow Boots will boost the wearer's speed, so they won't be outmatched by the wolves, while the Guardian Armor will provide strong protection against the wolves' claws."
"With these items, our Mo Gang mbers will have a much greater chance of victory against the wolf pack."
Hearing Mo Yu's detailed preparations, Fu Ao and the others were montarily stunned. They hadn't expected him to be so well-prepared, and they were equally impressed by the resources he was willing to invest. Both the Swift Shadow Boots and Guardian Armor were valuable equipnt, and Mo Yu intended to arm each Mo Gang mber with one.
Clearly, as a leader, Mo Yu had no intention of treating his followers as re expendables; he was a responsible leader, and this lifted the team's morale. Encouraged by his efforts, the mbers began to feel more confident about the upcoming assault on the wolf pack. They were elites from all over the Dou Qi Continent, and with Mo Yu leading them, they felt emboldened.
"Yes, boss! I'll make sure Wang Lin and his team work overti to get those Swift Shadow Boots and Guardian Armor ready in ti," Fu Ao responded respectfully, taking the blueprints from Mo Yu.
After Fu Ao left, Mo Yu turned to the remaining team mbers. "The Swift Shadow Boots and Guardian Armor are standard gear for regular mbers. As team leaders, each of you will receive a weapon refined by over the next half month," Mo Yu said calmly.
His words instantly ignited a spark in everyone's eyes. Although they were unsure of Mo Yu's exact proficiency in refining, he had already created the Cold Jade Bead and provided blueprints for other powerful items. His skill was undeniably impressive.
Furthermore, Fu Ao's own strength had grown from a three-star Dou Ling to being able to stand undefeated against even four- or five-star Dou Lings after receiving the Sea Shark Trident personally crafted by Mo Yu. With Fu Ao's improvent in the ranking, everyone was excited to obtain a weapon refined by Mo Yu himself.
Seeing the enthusiasm in their eyes, Mo Yu nodded. Uniting his followers and boosting morale was essential for any leader, and he was achieving that perfectly.
"Lin Yan, what about you? Do you have any weapon requests?" Mo Yu asked when he noticed Lin Yan's calm deanor.
"Thank you, boss, but I still prefer using my fists to settle things." Lin Yan smiled, shaking his head as he raised his fists.
"However, if you have the ti to craft one more weapon, I could help bring in a new ally. The price? Crafting a weapon for him," Lin Yan added.
"Oh? Who is it?" Mo Yu asked curiously.
"Qian Mo, ranked eighth on the Strong List," Lin Yan replied.
"Qian Mo... eighth on the Strong List?" Mo Yu raised an eyebrow, surprised at Lin Yan's connections.
"You may not know, boss, but Qian Mo is a long-ti rival of Yan Hao, who ranks seventh. Yan Hao wields rare Rock-type Dou Qi, which boasts a defense even more formidable than Earth-type Dou Qi.
Because of that, Qian Mo has repeatedly lost to Yan Hao, unable to break his defenses. If he had a weapon capable of piercing Yan Hao's defenses, I'm sure he'd seize the chance without hesitation," Lin Yan explained, sharing his insights on the Strong List's top competitors.
Mo Yu stroked his chin thoughtfully before nodding. "Very well. Bring him here. If all goes as planned, I'll refine him a weapon fit for breaking through Yan Hao's defenses."
"Leave it to , boss!" Lin Yan promised confidently, clapping his chest. Without the Fire Poison restraining him, his current strength was nearly on par with the top five on the ranking.
Standing up, Mo Yu looked at everyone with his silver eyes, his voice serious. "With that, everyone, start your preparations. In half a month, we head to the deep mountains!"
