Back ho, it was afternoon, and the courtyard was quiet. Perhaps everyone was taking a nap.
Cheng Su glanced at the two sisters who seed lost, especially Qi Fengping, who looked so pitiful. She thought to herself whether this matter could be suppressed was still unknown. If Auntie and the others noticed sothing, they were family after all and wouldn’t spread it all over the place.

Being scolded by her mother-in-law, Cheng Su didn’t retort, just forced a smile, which made Mother Qi feel very strange.

Deng Weiqiu noticed how the two were acting and whispered to her own mother, "I don’t know what they went out to do, being all secretive, and now they’re whispering to avoid people."
Auntie frowned and said, "Mind your own business, we are guests here."
Deng Weiqiu awkwardly complied.
But Auntie also kept an eye on the two and ntioned to Mother Qi to be wary of any scheming behind the scenes.
Upon hearing this, Mother Qi’s gaze at Cheng Su beca a bit unfriendly. But considering the festival, she didn’t say anything.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the family just got together for a reunion dinner and then enjoyed moon gazing.
Originally, Cheng Su and Qi Fenglian were good talkers, but now with sothing on their minds, they had no interest in joking. The dining table was uncharacteristically silent, and Father Qi vaguely sensed sothing was off.
Auntie, as a guest, felt all the more uncomfortable.
During the moon gazing, Qi Fenglian smiled and asked Auntie when she was leaving, making her face heat up as she thought she was being asked to leave, and replied, "I’m leaving tomorrow."
"Stay a few more days," Mother Qi quickly interjected, glaring at her eldest daughter. "How can you say that, are you driving our guest away?"
Qi Fenglian forced a smile, knowing that both she and her sister were misunderstood, but she didn’t explain, because she really was trying to send the guests away.
Qi Fengping’s matter was urgent, this ugly task had to be done. Otherwise, she’d stay until the end of ti and by then, Qi Fengping’s child would already be born.
"What kind of partner is Weiqiu looking for? What are the requirents?" Cheng Su asked Deng Weiqiu, peeling a chestnut, to change the subject.
Sure enough, it imdiately shifted everyone’s attention, and Deng Weiqiu, bashfully, listed a few criteria. Cheng Su’s mouth twitched; it was like she was looking for a prince.
