The Mid-Autumn Festival passed just like that, neither here nor there. After Qi Fenglian’s incident of chasing guests away, no matter how thick-skinned her aunt and the others were, they were embarrassed to stay longer. After breakfast, they said they were leaving.
Mother Qi tried to persuade them to stay again and again. Her aunt said sourly, "No need, lest these old bones of mine beco an eyesore. We better go. But Erzhen, I’m entrusting you with Weiqiu’s matter. You are her aunt by blood; you should pay so attention to this."
Mother Qi quickly agreed. She packed so of the festival gifts that Cheng Su had brought back for them to take along, and personally saw them off before turning back ho.
As soon as she got ho, Mother Qi grabbed Qi Fenglian and scolded her vehently: "That’s your blood aunt, and you had the nerve to tell her to leave."
Qi Fenglian could no longer hold it in. It was suffocating her; so she said, "Mom, if I didn’t ask them to leave, if she stayed, our family scandal would spread everywhere!"
Mother Qi was startled: "What scandal?"
Father Qi raised his eyebrows.
Qi Fenglian looked at Cheng Su, but Cheng Su cautiously suggested Qi Jianguo go out and lock the door to the courtyard. Father Qi’s expression grew even more serious.
"Speak! What scandal?" Mother Qi continued to question.
"Little Ping, co out!" Qi Fenglian called Qi Fengping out from the room.
In the living room, there were only a few adults. Xiao Yun and his sibling had long been told by Qi Fenglian to go play at the neighbor’s house.
Seeing Qi Fengping with her head lowered and unusually rounded figure, Father Qi’s hand trembled slightly, a bad premonition in his heart.
Mother Qi was utterly confused.
"Speak up, tell Dad and Mom about your business clearly." Qi Fenglian gave her little sister a nudge.
Qi Fengping dared not make a sound, her head lowered, almost resting against her chest.
Mother Qi felt even more bewildered, looking back and forth at the others repeatedly.
Seeing this, Cheng Su sighed lightly, saying, "Dad, Mom, yesterday when we went to the county, it wasn’t just for shopping. We took my sister-in-law to the hospital for a checkup. The doctor said my sister-in-law is pregnant, and it’s been over four months already."

Mother Qi staggered, staring fiercely at Qi Fengping’s belly.
"Fengping, tell us, whose bastard is this?" Father Qi stood up, slowly walking over.
Qi Fengping shrank back, lifted her head, seeing all eyes in the room, she was frightened and burst into tears: "I don’t know, boo-hoo..."
"Will you speak or not?" Father Qi’s face looked unpleasant, his hands tightly clenched.
"It’s Zhou Qiang’s! I got involved with him!"
Father Qi was taken aback: "Zhou Qiang?"
Cheng Su added calmly: "Said to be a guy who was sent to the village for re-education a few years ago, nad Zhou Qiang."
Father Qi rembered, without thinking, he raised his hand and gave Qi Fengping a big slap, the force of which directly knocked her to the ground.
Mother Qi hearing the na and background of the person, rolled her eyes, her legs went limp, and she completely fainted.
"Mom!" Qi Jianguo ca to his senses and hurried forward.
"Mom!"
The entire Qi family was in chaos.
