Qi Taiguo paced back and forth outside the delivery room, while Mother Cheng kept her hands clasped in prayer, feeling dizzy from watching her son-in-law.

The door to the delivery room opened, and Qi Taiguo leaped forward as a doctor ca out.
"Doctor, how is my wife?"
"The mother has given birth, both mother and child are safe, congratulations!" The doctor smiled and congratulated.
"Oh, it’s a boy?" Mother Cheng slapped her thigh joyously and asked. Good girl, bearing a son, now the Qi family’s old lady can’t say her girl is a hen that can’t lay eggs.
Before the doctor could respond, soone wheeled Cheng Su out, this ti not using a transporter, but a wheelchair. Cheng Su leaned on it, eyes closed, face pale.
Qi Taiguo was startled, the joy of hearing both mother and child were safe instantly vanished, and he quickly called out to Cheng Su: "Susu, are you okay?"
Mother Cheng looked closely and said with a laugh, "It’s nothing, she’s probably just exhausted!"
Cheng Su was dead tired, struggled to open her eyes, tried to say sothing, and then closed them again; she had no energy left.

Qi Taiguo quickly followed, forgetting about his son, closely following the nurse.

"Wife, thank you." Qi Taiguo whispered in her ear, "You’ve worked hard!"
Cheng Su, in her sleep, slightly curled her lips.
