"Brother Rui Wen, Nizi, you’re back." Gong Jiaming spotted Gong Ruini and her siblings, clearly excited.

With Gong Jiaming suddenly showing so much enthusiasm, Gong Ruini felt dizzy. They had spent a few days with Gong Jiaxin and her brother, had so fun, but definitely didn’t forge any deep feelings.

Moreover, Gong Ruini sensed that Gong Jiaxin and her brother weren’t too impressed with her and her siblings, especially after overhearing sothing Gong Jiaming said unintentionally. It left Gong Ruini speechless.

It’s not her fault for having good grades. Why don’t they think about improving themselves?

But aside from this tiny bit of dissatisfaction, Gong Jiaxin showed no other reaction. Plus, they hadn’t spent many days together before heading back to the countryside to accompany their grandparents.

Didn’t they say they’d be staying until the end of sumr vacation? But suddenly they’re back, and so warmly welcoming, Gong Ruini really felt overwheld.

Zhao Guangran was also surprised. When they were leaving last ti, he believed they’d only et again when he was gone. Could it be Gong Zhuang knew they were leaving, so he ca to bid farewell?

"My dad said he wants us to learn from you. Could you not set such high standards?" As Gong Jiaming hugged Gong Ruini, he whispered gently.

Learn from them? What’s going on here? Gong Ruini knew this pair of siblings had little interest in studying. They were content passing exams and being middle-ranked in their class. Why the sudden desire to learn?

Could this be Gong Zhuang’s idea? It must be, because aside from him, no one would propose such an idea.

But the key issue is that Miao Cuihua is quite indulgent with her kids. Though she wouldn’t spoil them, as seen with Gong Xiaoyu, she wouldn’t put too much pressure on their grades either.

"You want to study?" Gong Ruini found Gong Jiaming’s request was quite reasonable.

But Gong Ruini had to say, "If you truly want to guide you, I won’t relax the expectations."

Gong Ruini wouldn’t damage her reputation. Otherwise, Gong Zhuang would bla her for not educating Gong Jiaxin and her sibling well. Gong Ruini was clear she wouldn’t shirk this responsibility.

What? Won’t relax the expectations? Gong Jiaming was disappointed. He’d thought long and hard, thinking he could charm Gong Ruini into achieving the perfect resolution. He never expected this.

Suddenly, Gong Jiaming’s face fell.

"Actually, once you find the secret, it’s really not hard." Seeing Gong Jiaming’s despondent expression, Gong Ruini indicated finding the right thod wasn’t difficult at all.

"Really?" At this, not only did Gong Jiaming get excited, but Gong Jiaxin also turned to Gong Ruini, full of excitent.

Though Gong Jiaxin hadn’t stepped forward, Gong Zhuang’s demand for them to study well also applied to her.

Gong Jiaxin thought fortunately she could let Rui Wen tutor her, which wasn’t too embarrassing. But she didn’t understand why Gong Ruiwen planned to enter junior high when he was three years older than her.

"Yes, I just found the secret." Gong Ruini couldn’t admit the secret was to do more exercises, though it was the simplest thod. The most suitable approach was actually to have interest.

At the mont, neither Gong Jiaming nor Gong Jiaxin showed interest in their studies.

Luckily, they would be leaving in a few days; otherwise, they wouldn’t know how to complete this task.

As for whether Gong Zhuang would send Gong Jiaming and the others to Beijing or guide them through letters, the pressure wasn’t too great, allowing her to breathe a sigh of relief.

Gong Ruiwen was a bit annoyed, knowing their visit was filled with activities, yet more tasks were expected of them, including tutoring Gong Jiaming.

It’s not that Gong Ruiwen was unwilling to offer guidance, but teaching kids wasn’t an easy job, not a competition like with Zhao Guangran, who had an unwavering spirit.

"We’ll be leaving in a few days; anwhile, let’s tackle your weak spots with so revision." Gong Ruiwen pondered for a long ti before coming up with a decent plan.

Gong Zhuang’s intention was to improve their grades. The best approach was to target their deficiencies for improvent.

Leaving in a few days? Gong Jiaming felt secretly relieved; it wouldn’t be their problem anymore, he could finally relax.

Gong Jiaxin also relaxed, thinking addressing their knowledge gaps wasn’t a big deal. She knew her grades weren’t excellent, but there shouldn’t be too many issues, nothing major.

"However, for the next few days, you’ll be quite busy. I’ll tailor your study plan based on your weaknesses."

Busy? Gong Jiaming’s eyes widened, "Isn’t it just filling gaps?" How could it be so daunting.

Well, Gong Ruiwen intended to prepare them for the worst. That way, once results erged, they wouldn’t feel the pressure was imnse.

"Alright, let’s prepare so test papers."

"Is the exam tomorrow?" Gong Jiaming asked cautiously. Recently, he’d been out playing and hadn’t been studying. He didn’t know how he’d do in the test.

At this mont, Gong Jiaming suddenly realized he’d forgotten everything he’d learned, now what?

"I haven’t read for ages; I’ve forgotten all the contents in the books. How can I take the test?" Gong Jiaming declared he really couldn’t handle the exam.

Forget what he learned? No way. Gong Ruini was dumbfounded, finding this reason for dodging exams incredibly powerful.

"What, you spent the entire sumr vacation forgetting what you learned before?" Gong Zhuang was furious, aware of his son’s poor commitnt to studying.

Now he knew; every sumr and winter vacation resulted in forgetting everything from the previous sester.

How did Dad hear that, Gong Jiaming felt like crying. Though he hadn’t seen his Dad’s expression, he knew it wasn’t good.

"Starting today, no more playing outside. You need to review your studies at ho every day." It’s not every vacation that allows forgetting, is it?

If playing leads to forgetting learned content, then no more playing.

No way, Gong Jiaming was shocked. He just wanted to dodge exams, not realizing the outco would be self-sabotage. What now?

"Dad, wasn’t I just joking with my brother?" Gong Jiaming was really on the verge of tears. If sumr ans no playing outside, he was dood. He didn’t want his sumrs to feel like there was no break.

"Was it a joke?" Gong Zhuang didn’t pursue the explanation further, "Rui Wen, your siblings are counting on you."

"Alright, I’ll prepare the test papers right away; we can test after dinner." With test papers ready, Gong Ruiwen found producing papers incredibly easy nowadays.
