After his avatars which he decided to call Ved 2,3 and 4 left the minor world, they went on seperate directions.
It had been a few months since then. Ved two was leisurely flying above the clouds, corpses of multiple rank 3 fish were sprawled on a giant white plate floating next him.
Their bodies had been skinned and perfectly cooked, he grabbed a piece of a 25 tres long eel, it was still steaming hot and devoured it in a few bites.
Suddenly the clouds parted, below he saw a vast piece of land teaming with wild life, trees that towered to the sky and demonic beasts running around, fighting and mating freely.
Ved’s eyes stretched to the horizon and no matter how much he looked at this piece of land, it looked familiar as if he has seen it before.
He decided to fly even higher, he stopped just below the second cloud layer. He looked down and almost choked on his food.
’ This..this is Australia, isn’t it? Then is this world really earth?, no that doesn’t make any sense, Australia was never this huge, even Asia wasn’t this large.’
However no matter how many tis he looked, this was definitely Australia but tens of tis larger.
He descended and flew a few kilotres above the land, his speed was relatively fast and after flying for about an hour he saw a city.
It was an old dead city, blood and bones littered the ground, of human and beast alike. There were charred marks all over the city.
The old city with crumbling buildings and rusted vehicles was now populated by beasts, demonic beasts, he couldn’t sense a single spiritual beast around.
He landed on the edge of the city, his soul sense spread out and covered the entire city, he could feel the beasts quivering from his aura.
Not only was his aura incredibly powerful to them, his king’s authority made him intimidating to beasts, even though they were different species, even demonic beasts were effected by it.
Ved sealed his aura, unless one had a stronger soul sense than Ved, they would only sense him as a re rank 2 weak beast.
He started walking towards the centre of the city, his pace slow and unhurried. His every movent filled with the majesty and grace of a king, this authority seed to ignite his dragon blood even more.
He felt a sense of pride he had never felt before. A few foolish beasts attacked him but he dispatched them as easily as crushing bugs.
He didn’t even eat those lowly rank 2 beasts, he disdained them. The closer he got to the centre, the less beasts he saw.
This told him there was a powerful beast lying in there. He spread out his soul sense but be did not detect anything.
He frowned,’ Strange, there’s nothing here, so what are they scared of?’ He continued walking slowly, while looking around, he was not scared.
His senses weren’t warning him of any danger. Near a dried fountain there was a statue, it was partially broken, sothing having bitten it.
Probably a beast mistaking it for a human. However what interested him was what layed inside the fountain.
It were bones, complete bones of a rank 3 canine beasts. However the bones were wet and sticky as if sothing had just vomited then recently.
’ A snake?’ he wasn’t certain but snakes usually threw up what they couldn’t digest so it was possible it was a snake, a very big one because this canine beast was huge.
As large as a cow. Ved looked around and didn’t see any sign of anything living around here ’ Maybe it just went out, I’ll wait.’
He started walking around and he got too close to a crumbling building, his instincts kicked in.
They warned him he was under attack but he didn’t feel any threat so he didn’t even bother dodging. He could feel the air shifting around him, as if sothing invisible was cutting through it like a whip, heading straight for him.
He couldn’t see what was attacking him but he could track it movents through the air shift around him and he still did not dodge. Then he felt sothing wet and sticky wrap around his neck and trust to drag him.
His body did not even budge, whatever attacked him seed to realise it made a mistake and tried to pull back but he grabbed it before it could.
Then he yanked, blood filled the air and painted the crumbling building red. Sothing appeared briefly before it started running away.
Ved looked at the sticky thing in his hand and it turned out to be a tongue. Then he looked at the creature running away.
’ A chaleon?’ Ved was looking at it but it didn’t appear on his soul sense. Such a powerful stealth ability greatly interested him.
The chaleon was very slow for a rank 3 beast, which made sense, it was an ambush type beast, speed and strength were not it forte.
While slow for a rank 3, it was still incredibly fast and it was huge, even larger than a fully grown bull cow, it body started changing it shade to match that of the ground below it.
It camouflage was so perfect, Ved couldn’t even tell the difference between it feet and the ground but he wasn’t about to let such a powerful trait go free.
A tiny sword made of wax appeared next to him then it shot out,it cut through the air like a streak of white light and cut off the chaleon’s head before it could react.
It body started changing slowly until it scales turned green. Ved assud this was it natural shade.
With a flick of a claw he created blue flas out of nuclear energy. Then started skinning the chaleon, his actions were slow and precise.
Not wasting a single piece of at in the process. He started roasting it over the flas, a giant white plate descended from the sky.
On it were pieces of roasted at and herbs. He grabbed the herbs and sared them all over the chaleon.
After it at had turned brown and tender he took a piece and ate it. ( Obtained 0.0000003 evolution points.) He ignored that notification.
This thing was rely an earth grade rank 3 beast, even it entire body would barely give him 0.0002 evolution points.
What he wanted to see was the next notification. ( Obtainable trait detected- Stealth, does host wish to assimilate trait?)
He grinned, ’ Hell yeah.’
