They felt fear grasped their hearts. The herald drained the blood of those he had just killed.
Of the 34 people, 7 of them including the first woman had died yet they were yet to even land a single attack on the herald.
Everybody realised the situation was really really bad. Cat was about to project her own image and join the fight when space rippled next to them.
She was ready to attack whatever cos out but was surprised to see who it was.
" Aurora."
Aira whispered, Cat could hear the relief and joy in her voice even though she tried to sound cold.
Aurora the librarian smiled at her, " You look surprised, you didn’t really think I would let my cute little sister die did you?"
Aira did not answer, the herald turned his eyes at the librarian. " How did you get in?" He asked coldy.
The librarian giggled, " I have my ways." The herald ignored her after. " Wow, he’s quite an arrogant prick isn’t he? I find that kind of hot."
Aira shook her head a sighed, " Please focus Aurora." He told her the plan and Aurora agreed.
Like her little sister she too had a legendary grade vessel and with her the four direction seal can be used.
They each took a pillar and stood on four opposite sides of the herald. It looked at them with a bored expression not taking them seriously.
The monk did sothing nobody had expected. He stabbed himself in the heart with a golden stick.
He coughed up blood and his expression grew pale. Everybody thought he had been compelled until the golden Buddha behind him moved.
" Dana." The monk used the pure of generosity. The golden Buddha opened it palm as if to give.
Everybody including the herald was confused until they saw what happened next.
All the wounds on the monk disappeared and the Harald threw up blood. His face contorted with pain.
The pure of generosity can transfer all the damage the monk took onto the target, whether they can handle it depended on them.
Unfortunately this ability can only used once a month. The monk knew the herald can handle all forms of physical damage easily.
Which is why he used the golden stick, it was an artefact that temporarily stopped all regeneration from those stabbed by it.
Even the herald couldn’t heal from that damage in a short ti which would weaken him for so ti.
The only reason the monk even dared use it was because he would transfer all the damage so technically he wouldn’t be healing and he was right.
He had never used the stick and Dana as the sa ti so it was a gamble on his part as well.
With the herald weakened it was a chance to seal him. The four pillars lit up and a formation ford around the herald with the four of them as anchors.
There was a sound of a bell chiming then everything stopped. The truth was this was a ti prison.
It took Aira years to create each pillar and the formation would never work without four people with a spark of divinity at the very least.
However this was the first ti she was using it so she had miscalculated. The four pillars shattered.
A golden do spread out enveloping all of them. It stopped after creating a done 400 kilotres in diater.
Everybody was trapped within including them. Ti within the do was frozen solid, from outside it looked like a painting stuck in ti.
----------------------------------------------------------
Ved and Naledi sat quietly at the bottom of the massive pool. Ved felt at ho, he was very comfortable underwater.
Naledi on the other hand was forced to hold her breath which she could do for ages need be.
They felt their minds clear with each passing mont, their senses grew slightly so better returning to their forr states.
However the healing process was slow by their standards but it was not so for others. To them they had to watch the dicinal properties of the pool disappear rapidly.
They even grew worried thinking sothing was wrong until Ved reassured them that everything was fine.
Ti passed and their spirits nded themselves, two days later Ved jumped out of the pool.
He had completely healed, he took to the sky and floated above his black tower, wind was drawn to him.
He did not notice at first until it ford a spiral which turned into a tornado. He didn’t understand what was happening.
" It’s your weight." Manas told him but he was still confused. She explained further.
" After your recent encounter with the herald of nightmares
Your image increased your mass to strengthen your iron scale trait and herculean strength to increase your chances of survival.
However your size barely changed so all of that mass was condensed to fit your size, you’re like a continent condensed to the size of a building.
Your body bends space and ti around you which is why you’re pulling the wind around you, Ved, you’re a walking mini blackhole."
" Oh." He supposed that made sense if he was as heavy as a continent. However it was still inconvenient.
He thought about how to fix this then thought of White, she managed to lower her own mass sohow.
He wanted her to teach him, White agreed happily under the condition that they would spar.
He agreed but it would have to be later because right now they had more pressing issues to deal with.
He transford into his human form, after his spirit healed, his ntal strength and will grew significantly stronger.
He can now maintain the human form for much longer. The handso man with hair coloured in black and white appeared in pure white clothes.
His human form was much less heavier than his true dragon but as a result was much weaker as well.
He took a breath and realised how much easier it was to maintain it now. In his new state he could probably remain in this form for a few years.
Which was an insane increase from the first ti he gained the transformation ability. His form was a bit taller and more muscular than before.
But it was more handso. The water below split apart and Naledi ca out. She flexed her muscles and frowned.
" Why are my muscles so tough?" She asked. Ved just grinned.
" You’re back, good, ti we pay a visit to so blood fuck." He smiled, her eyes shone with dangerous light.
