Ved jumped but when he looked to the side he saw Ursela standing on water like it was solid ground.
He turned his attention to the fight, then back at her and back to fight again, then the fight ended and their bodies disappeared into thin air like smoke.
It was then that he realised everything he was seeing before was like an afterimage of sort. They moved so fast his brain couldn’t process their speed.
So what he saw was like a recording imprinted on the world. He saw everything and heard everything monts after they actually happened.
He struggled to rationalize it, that level of speed was insane to him. That ant if he tried to fight any of them he wouldn’t even be able to see them and by the ti he did he would already be dead.
" Here." She threw the spear at him with a strange almost sympathetic look, there were three water blue rings around it that seed to be weakening it.
He grabbed it and gave her a strange look. ’ Ah, big sister Ursela...’ she smiled and talked before he could finish his sentence " Big sister? I like that, from now on you are my little brother, if anybody bullies you, you tell , big sister will punch them to oblivion."
She was really simple minded. ’ I still don’t know what I’m supposed to do with this?’ she shrugged " Do whatever you want with it, it’s useless anyways."
A much smaller projection of the vessel spirit appeared. " Who are you calling useless you stu..." " Huh?" She glared at him. " You stunning big sister who is right, this old man is useless."
His tone changed imdiately, Ved admired his shalessness, it was godly. She turned her attention back to him." You should co visit when you’re free and big sister will treat you to a big al."
She waved her hand at him and jumped in the water, her body transford into it full size imdiately and she swam away.
Her body disappeared in a few seconds. Ved was left alone with the spear and he had no idea what to do with it.
The vessel spirit scoffed. " Cheeky brat, thinking she’s all that, she should be glad I don’t hurt won or I would’ve spanked her ass, stupid stupid brat, one day I’ll show her."
Ved felt a headache coming, he had a feeling he was going to have so unpleasant tis with this shaless spear.
He dropped it and swam away. " Wait lowly beast, take with you, I’ve been stuck here alone with no one to talk to for far too long, I could use so company even if it a lowly beast, rejoice, you’ll be graced by my presence."
’ Can’t you fly on your own?’ he asked in an annoyed voice. The spirit coughed. " Ah well you see, that ugly beast sealed my true body."
It pointed at the three blue rings around the spear. " I can’t do anything with those things on unless I find a successor holder."
He sighed and continued swimming away " Wait, don’t leave i can be of use to you, I’m very old and know a lot of things."
He ignored it. " I can tell you stories of the past human heroes, though you might not understand since you are but a lowly beast."
He swam even faster. It tried one last attempt. " She gave as a gift to you, do you really want to just throw away, that might make her sad, oh the heartbreak, the pain, her little brother throwing away a gift she fought so hard to get."
It grabbed it chest as if it was in pain, fake tears even welled up in it eyes.Ved sighed, though a bit dramatic and very annoying it was right, it was given as gift and it would be rude to just throw it away, even if she said he could do whatever he want with it.
He stretched a string and grabbed it then tied it to his back. ’ It wasn’t that hard by the way.’ " What?" ’ She didn’t fight that hard to get you, you were very weak.’
It balled it fist " How dare you, I held back so I wouldn’t hurt that little girl okay." He ignored it and continued swimming at a leisurely pace.
Three days passed, his eyes were twitching. The vessel spirit had been talking non stop for the past three days, his ears were itching from the constant blabbering.
" As I was saying, my holder the majestic emperor Gold stabbed the herald in the heart, the pleasure I felt when I penetrated it, it was addictive." His mouth twitched, it choice of words were... unique.
While the vessel spirit was busy blabbering away he saw a tuna fish swimming past them. It was huge with a length of over 8 tres.
And this was rely a rank 2, it speed was incredibly fast, it pierced through the water silently like an arrow without causing a single ripple.
Ved imdiately shot a bolt of lightning at it and electrocuted. A delicious scent reached his nose.
This was not the first ti he had done this, infact it was thanks to the talkative spear that he learnt how to cook with pure lightning.
While he knew lightning was hot he couldn’t figure out how much voltage he needed to cook at until the spear pointed it out like it was common knowledge.
Although it was talkative and likes to brag he has to admit it did know a lot of things. He bit into the tuna and delicious fish at juices spread through his mouth.
He growled in pleasure, it’s been years since he had cooked at and it appeared he still had a taste for it, while raw at was delicious it was incomparable to this.
Ofcourse the at was partially raw, it created a bland of flavours he couldn’t enjoy in past life but his tastebuds were more superior now so he had to do it.
" Oy oy, are you listening, I’m recounting my glorious adventures with the mighty God king Gold, why aren’t you listen?"
Ved got fed up.’ Is it lieutenant general, marshall, emperor or mighty God king? Make up your mind.’
" Why do titles matter? do not go back on our deal or I won’t tell you anything, you have to listen to my holders amazing deeds as promised, no more interruptions."
Ved sighed, he was starting to regret agreeing to that stupid deal, he didn’t know this thing could talk for three days straight, three days without rest, how is that even possible?
But he promised to listen to it and in exchange it would explain to him a bit about the cultivation system, according to it, it would only explain a little and he would have to earn the rest of the information.
Ved agreed, he was rely a rank 3, he was not in a hurry to know the higher realms, he had ti to figure it out later but now he was deeply regretting agreeing at all.
Pity he can’t go back on his word, his very bloodline deed that act disgraceful and it made him uncomfortable just thinking about it.

It didn’t stop talking. ’ Oh dear horse face Poseidon, drown .’
