As the four of them stood on the train, they looked at the station sign:
’Bloody Platform—Death Wheatfield—Righteous Mansion Spirit Hall—Tomb Sun Primary School—Reflected World (Preliminary Completion)—Pyramid (Unfinished)—Ghost Castle (Unfinished)—Third ntal Hospital (Unfinished)—Entrance to Hell (Unfinished)...’
"Old Bai, your speed doesn’t seem that great, does it? Are all these unfinished sites just pie in the sky for Bro Ping?" Li Shu comnted, looking at the list of nas and curling his lip.
Bai Cang scratched his head helplessly. "The setup for so scenes requires specific Pet Beasts; in fact, so are designed primarily to service these Undead Pet Beasts. These Pet Beasts haven’t been placed yet. Moreover, so scenes also need Breeder Su’s approval to proceed."
"Fine. But have you completed the first three?"
After receiving an affirmative answer, the group of five watched as the strangely eerie train slowly began to move. It sped forward through a dark tunnel that seed to have been built at so unknown ti.
In less than ten minutes, the train screeched to a halt.
The sudden stop caught the other four, who were unprepared, sowhat off guard; they had yet to recover from the high-speed movent.
"We have arrived at Death Wheatfield. Visitors, please prepare to disembark!"
A cold, chanical voice announced. The doors opened, and the five of them stepped out.
Unlike the station at Heart of Soul, this place was outdoors.
There was no village in sight, nor any shops. Although the sun shone brightly, this desolate place felt like a completely different world from the bustling hub of human industrial civilization they had just left.
Before them stretched a world composed of golden waves of wheat.
A single glance was enough to make them feel as if they were in the midst of an autumn harvest.
However, within this wheatfield, where the wheat stalks themselves towered over a ter, nearly two ters tall, a RUSTLE, RUSTLE sound could occasionally be heard, as if sothing was moving within, causing one’s hair to stand on end.
"This is Death Wheatfield. It covers about ten square kiloters," Bai Cang explained with a smile. "Although it’s not very large, there are several suggestive arrangents within. We might also add resources that affect ntal judgnt, making it impossible for those who enter to discern directions and find their way out of this Death Wheatfield.
"It primarily features ’Broadleaf Gold Wheat,’ a failed variant of the Ordinary Level Topaz Wheat. This Broadleaf Gold Wheat has no other use.
"Its only praiseworthy traits are its fast growth rate and its ability to Rapidly Recover even when cut down.
"Combined with resources to maintain the soil and ensure a supply of water and Energy, this wheatfield can be kept in its current state indefinitely. There are also quite a few Undead Pet Beast Strawn inside."
The other four nodded.
"However, we’re just looking around. There’s no need to go inside," Bai Cang added.
No one objected, though Ding Xiaolong looked eager to explore the wheatfield and seed sowhat disappointed by the decision.
Places like this required extensive preparation, including safety facilities and ga Rules.
It wasn’t open for business yet; Bai Cang was simply showing them the progress.
After looking around for a bit, they boarded the train again.
This ti, however, they didn’t go to the next station, Righteous Mansion Spirit Hall. Instead, they headed to Tomb Sun Primary School.
Compared to Death Wheatfield, Tomb Sun Primary School was a very traditional school-thed area. It mainly featured low-level Wandering Soul Pet Beasts, divided by grade. Heart of Soul had acquired the most of this type of Undead Pet Beast—nearly two hundred of them!
However, compared to other Undead Pet Beasts, Wandering Souls were easier to manage. As long as so resources and items that suppressed Spirit-type Undead were placed in the vicinity, they could be kept within a designated area.
Furthermore, these low-level Undead Pet Beasts weren’t very intelligent, and during this ti, it seed they had genuinely co to consider Tomb Sun Primary School their ho.
After Bai Cang gave another round of introductions, there wasn’t much else to say.
Finally, the five of them reached their last destination.
"This Reflected World is different from the previous ones!" Bai Cang began. "It’s not fully complete yet. Unlike the other scenes, this one could genuinely cause problems if not handled carefully.
"The concept primarily involves using the Commander Level Artifact Pet Beast, ’Mirror of Reflection,’ and the Elite Level Undead Pet Beast, ’Mirror Demon,’ to create a unique scene!
"We now have a few genuine Mirrors of Reflection, which Miss Dong sent over earlier, but the Mirror Demons haven’t arrived yet."
As Bai Cang was explaining, the group arrived at a peculiar structure.
It was a labyrinth seemingly constructed from countless mirrors. Inside, endless reflections of themselves ford, making it impossible to distinguish reality from illusion.
"Besides reflecting the illusions of Pet Beasts and people in front of them, the Mirror of Reflection has a very powerful Skill," Bai Cang continued. "As a basic Space Elent Artifact Pet Beast, the Mirror of Reflection can create a localized Mirror World. People can enter it without realizing, becoming trapped, which is extrely bizarre and terrifying.
"And the Mirror Demon, a special Undead Pet Beast that erges in connection with the Mirror of Reflection, can travel through mirrors. Although its combat strength is average, its ability to startle is undeniably potent, if not more so."
Bai Cang chuckled, clearly proud of his creation.
He had already envisioned this back at the Ghost Dragon Breeding Base.
