"There’s a beautiful Parrot, a black-and-white, loyal, and gentle wolf-like Sheepdog, a big-tailed red squirrel, and also so poisonous insects for self-defense: a crimson spider, a long-tailed scorpion, and a multi-legged centipede."

Si Shuo imdiately pushed him away. "You... you brought spiders, scorpions, and centipedes ho? And they’re all poisonous?"

Zhi Le chuckled. "Xue Zhu has the Beast Taming Ability, but if she uses it in front of strangers just once, they’ll easily figure it out. The next ti soone confronts her, they just have to avoid eye contact, and her Beast Taming Ability will be basically useless. So, if she carries so little critters for self-defense, she won’t be so easily taken advantage of."
