Beast World Food Stall: Feeding My Cubs and Taming My Beast Husbands Chapter 46: You’re Too Weak, the Little Female Is Mine
In the dim water, Yu An groggily awoke to see Lan Yin pacing anxiously back and forth.
His brows were tightly furrowed, as if he had run into so difficult problem.
"Stop moving around. You’re making dizzy."
Hearing Yu An’s weak voice, he hurriedly swam over. "Yu An, you’re finally awake!"
"Hurry and untie ! We need to get out of here right away!"
Yu An took a closer look and finally understood why Lan Yin had been spinning in place.
Lu Lu had wrapped around his tail, its other end buried deep in the seabed, leaving Lan Yin completely unable to break free.
"Where is this?" Yu An ignored him and asked, "Where did you bring ?"
She was surrounded by seawater, but for so reason—sothing Lan Yin must have done—she could breathe underwater.
"This is the Endless Sea. I was trying to take you to a place in the exiled land, but sothing went wrong along the way, and we ended up here."
Lan Yin was frustrated. ’If I’d known we’d end up in a hellhole like this, I wouldn’t have used my Talent Ability, Instant Teleportation.’
The rfolk Clan was different from ordinary Beastn. They had a chance to awaken a Talent Ability. Lan Yin’s was Instant Teleportation, but using it ca at a great cost every ti.
Suppressing the churning qi and blood in his body, he said, "Now is not the ti to talk about that. This is a forbidden area of the Endless Sea. It’s said to be where they imprison Cannibal Beasts. We need to leave imdiately."
Hearing this, Yu An decided to settle scores with him later. "Lu Lu, let him go."
Freed from the vine’s restraint, Lan Yin wasted no more words. He wrapped an arm around Yu An’s waist, and with a flick of his tail, he swam swiftly toward the surface.
Yu An had heard of the Endless Sea. It was the most mysterious place on the Beastman Continent, and she’d never heard of any Beastman living here.
Any Beastman who foolishly tried to occupy this place t one of two fates: either they got incredibly lucky and escaped with their life, or they died here, with not even a skeleton left behind.
But most who survived would, as their first act upon returning ho, bring back large amounts of gold and silver jewelry and dump it into the sea.
"Doesn’t that an the seabed is covered in gold and silver? How co I didn’t see anything just now?"
Lan Yin snapped irritably, "You’re still in the mood to worry about that? You’ll be lucky just to get out of this alive."
Yu An said nonchalantly, "What’s the big deal? We can just co back and pay the ransom after we get ho. As the Clan Leader of the rfolk Clan, you must be very rich, right?"
"Even if I am, I wouldn’t use it to ransom you," Lan Yin snorted. "After we leave this place, I’m breaking our contract. If you don’t want to get hurt, you should be the one to undo it."
"Mhm, mhm, mhm."
Yu An nodded perfunctorily, but that wasn’t what she was thinking at all.
’I’m not breaking the contract until we’re back in the exiled land. What if Lan Yin decides to get so revenge on ? I wouldn’t even have a shoulder to cry on.’
Speaking of the exiled land, Yu An thought of the Exile Grass.
’I have to get back quickly. Otherwise, when the Exile Grass’s effects kick in, I’ll be the one suffering.’
She could purge the Exile Grass from her body, but it would require her superpower to reach a higher Level.
Yu An touched the birthmark on her face. Her current Superpower Level was low, so the detoxification process was very slow. The birthmark hadn’t changed much in a short ti.
Lan Yin swam for a long, long ti—so long that Yu An was about to fall asleep, yet they still hadn’t reached the surface.
Yu An rubbed her eyes. "Lan Yin, are you going to make it or not? If not, let take over."
She knew how to swim, and she wasn’t half bad at it.
"Shut up," Lan Yin said coldly. "You’re not allowed to say I can’t make it!"
He was starting to think Yu An was a nace. Whenever he got close to her, he felt inexplicably agitated.
His heart, which had been calm for hundreds of years, would always stir with ripples that shouldn’t be there whenever he saw her.
’It shouldn’t be like this.’
’I should abandon all distracting thoughts and hold fast to my original intentions, or else...’
"Watch out!"
Yu An suddenly saw a shark charging at them. Lan Yin, however, was lost in thought and showed no intention of dodging, so she quickly yanked him aside.
Seeing its first attack fail, the shark turned and charged again. Lan Yin finally snapped back to reality, let go of Yu An, and began fighting the shark bare-handed.
It had to be said, the mbers of the Beast Clan living in the Endless Sea were really sothing. Even soone as strong as Lan Yin, with his imnse spiritual power and Martial Force, was actually showing signs of being overwheld.
Of course, this was also because using his Talent Ability had left him severely weakened. Otherwise, a re shark would have been no match for him.
Both man and beast sustained so injuries during the fight. Blood spread through the seawater, and to avoid attracting other Sea Beasts, Yu An sent out her vines to lend Lan Yin a hand.
The two of them worked in perfect concert. One trapped the shark, and the other delivered the fatal blow!
"Hah... We have to get out of here, fast."
Without even waiting to catch his breath, Lan Yin once again wrapped his arm around Yu An and swam away with her.
Thin streams of blood drifted from his wounds into the water. Lan Yin paid it no mind, but in the next second, a small hand pressed against his injury.
A warmth spread from the wound. He looked down in astonishnt to see Yu An healing him.
’I’m the one who put her in this dangerous situation, yet she’s actually helping heal...’
"What are you looking at?" Yu An shot him a glare. "I’m just worried your blood will attract more Sea Beasts. You’ll have to pay back for this—ten thousand Gold Coins per session."
Lan Yin averted his gaze and said in a low voice, "You’ll get what you’re owed."
’That suits just fine. A clean transaction, no favors owed.’
After swimming for an unknown amount of ti, a glimr of light finally appeared above them. Lan Yin sped up, and the two of them finally broke the surface!
Yu An greedily gulped in the fresh air. Even though she could breathe underwater, she still felt safer on land.
She scanned her surroundings. All she could see was water, stretching to the horizon in every direction.
Yu An was a little dazed. "How are we going to get out of here?"
’Don’t tell we have to swim to shore and then travel overland back to the exiled land?’
"We’ll find an island and wait. Once I’ve recovered a bit, I’ll use my Talent Ability to teleport us back."
Yu An’s expression soured. "How long will that take? I can wait, but the Exile Grass can’t."
Lan Yin paused. "I’ll be as fast as I can."
With that, he took Yu An’s hand and began swimming east. Yu An knew that worrying was pointless, so she resigned herself to finding a place to rest first.
"What do you need to recover? Let see if I can help."
"No need," Lan Yin said without turning back. "Just take care of yourself."
Yu An secretly rolled her eyes at him. ’Now I believe what Feng Xuan said.’
’He really does have a dead-fish face. He was just acting that whole ti in the exiled land.’
The island was just ahead, but Lan Yin didn’t dare to relax, as he didn’t know when danger might strike.
His caution was well-founded, but in the face of overwhelming power, all vigilance is useless.
The sea suddenly churned, and a thick iron chain, as wide as a wrist, shot out from the depths, binding Lan Yin’s tail tightly.
The next second, his arms felt empty. Yu An had been lifted into mid-air by an invisible force.
Lan Yin’s pupils contracted. "Who’s there?! Let go!"
He struggled against the chain with all his might. His tail fin was scraped raw by the rough iron, a bloody and shocking sight.
Ignoring his injuries, Lan Yin leaped powerfully from the water, reaching for Yu An. "Grab my hand!"
"Heh, interesting."
A lazy, deep voice drifted down from the clouds. The wind howled and clouds roiled, gathering into a thick white mass overhead.
Just as their hands were about to touch, a tornado-shaped cloud swept Yu An away, and the iron chain once again bound Lan Yin.
"But you’re still too weak. The little female is mine now."
