Engaged in casual chatter, Qiao Sang finished her breakfast.
Mikaela glanced at the air beside her.
"Wait a minute!" Qiao Sang called out just in ti.
Mikaela looked over.
Qiao Sang got up, walked quickly back to her room, and soon returned with a Pet Beast Egg, placing her backpack next to Lubao.
Lubao leapt in with enthusiasm.
Qiao Sang slung the bag over her shoulder, saying:
"I’m ready."
Just as the words left her mouth, everything went black before her eyes.
When light returned, she found herself standing at the entrance of a spacious magic items room.
As a few classmates passed by in the hallway, they were not surprised to see people and a Pet Beast appearing out of thin air. They gave a casual glance, but when their eyes fell on Little Treasure Hunter, many showed astonishnt and uncertainty, so even took out their phones.
Here we go again, another batch mistaking Little Treasure Hunter... Qiao Sang mused inwardly, yet kept a composed facade.
"Xun Xun..."
Little Treasure Hunter seed to also sense what those gazes implied, puffing out its cheeks in anger, it turned invisible.
"Knock, knock." Mikaela knocked twice on the door and then pushed it open.
Qiao Sang followed swiftly behind and closed the door.
"You’ve arrived." The white-haired old man, who was instructing a Pet Beast in dissolving a mineral, lifted his head and greeted without much emotion.
Then, his gaze fell on Qiao Sang, expressing a rather curious remark: "Is this the student from the Emperor Class who beca a B-level Beastmaster at age 17?"
"Correct." Mikaela nodded.
"Hello, Teacher." Qiao Sang greeted politely.
The white-haired old man scrutinized the girl before him a few tis, curiously asking:
"How do you usually train your brain domain? Just through ditation?"
Qiao Sang responded with a "Hmm": "However, I did drink a bottle of Weir Serum back on Chao Su Star."
Weir Serum isn’t much of anything; students at the Imperial Beastmaster Academy have almost all used it... The old man asked no further, instead inquiring:
"I heard you want to craft a magic tool, what materials do you have?"
His tone was unusually gentle, noticeably softer compared to how he treated Mikaela.
This teacher must have so sort of grudge with Teacher Mijia... thought Qiao Sang as she nodded in the direction of Little Treasure Hunter’s hidden spot.
"Xun Xun~"
Little Treasure Hunter appeared and removed a ring, rummaging through it.
The old man stared at Little Treasure Hunter blankly for a mont, then showed a look of astonishnt: "Isn’t that the Ghost Ring King who stripped soone’s clothes and threw them at the police station?"
Qiao Sang: "..."
Little Treasure Hunter: "..."
"It’s not the one." Mikaela stated calmly: "I’ve been with Qiao Sang training in Dragon Country recently, we just got back yesterday."
The old man ignored Mikaela, instead smiling at Qiao Sang and saying:
"Having a Pet Beast that looks identical to one with a bounty on its head isn’t a good thing, hope that Ghost Ring King gets caught soon."
Seems there really is a grudge with Teacher Mijia... Qiao Sang nodded, saying:
"I hope so too."
While they conversed, Little Treasure Hunter found a pouch containing Ancient Ghost Gold and handed it over.
The old man received it, glanced inside, and then turned to Little Treasure Hunter, saying:
"I understand now, it’s for helping this Ghost Ring King craft a tool."
With that, he looked towards Qiao Sang, asking:
"What kind of tool do you wish to craft?"
Qiao Sang thought for a mont, saying:
"Sothing that can be carried on the body at all tis, though not the kind that fits snug with its current size, because my Ghost Ring King is about to evolve, and its size will change then."
"Preferrably with a refined design, my Ghost Ring King likes beautiful things. As for the function, I just hope the energy absorption can be faster."
"Xun Xun~"
Little Treasure Hunter nodded in full agreent, feeling that its Beastmaster understood it well.
"I understand." The old man said: "Co back in half a month."
His tone turned noticeably colder all of a sudden.
The abrupt change in attitude left Qiao Sang sowhat bewildered, unsure whether she had misspoken, she hesitated to ask about the points required, fearing a poor mood might cause him to raise the price.
"We’ll be leaving now." Mikaela stated.
The old man waved with a rather indifferent gesture.

Exiting the magic items room, on the way to the Emperor Class area, Qiao Sang, unable to contain her curiosity, asked:
"Does Teacher Glofer have a bad relationship with you?"
Mikaela sighed: "It’s not just a bad relationship with , it’s with all the teachers and students of the entire Emperor Class."
Ah? Qiao Sang was montarily taken aback.
Isn’t the Emperor Class said to be the most badass class in the whole Imperial Beastmaster Academy?
Before she could voice out her question, Mikaela continued:
"Our Emperor Class targets the Interstellar Cup, naturally, all the competitions we participate in have nothing to do with magic tools. During practice, the use of tools is forbidden, Glofer tried several tis to create tools for our Emperor Class students to use, but was rejected each ti. One teacher even told him to his face, ’Tools are useless, true strength is what matters,’ and this directly angered him. Another student accepted a tool from him but then sold it for a high price points."
