Amber suddenly shivered, the coldness on her face dissipating a bit, replaced by an awkward expression.
Damn, she's gotten used to skipping classes.
Wu Chang looked at the sandwich in Amber's hand and softly said:

But she had to stay, had to sit here and finish her lunch; she believed that if she showed any non-cooperation, Wu Chang would indeed persist until she cooperated.

She shot a resentful glance at Wu Chang, who returned a beaming smile upon feeling her gaze.
Amber took a deep breath, lowering her head to eat lunch. After just a few bites, she hiccuped.

She wanted to say she was full but swallowed her words upon eting Wu Chang's gaze, chanically stuffing food into her mouth.
Five minutes later, Amber swallowed the last bite of lunch.

She looked up, only to see Wu Chang's plate hadn't been touched much.
Realizing Amber's gaze, Wu Chang smirked, unafraid of offending anyone, and gave a thumbs up, saying:
"The cook can turn a al into this, he's practically committing a cri. Soone who can swallow this stuff is a true sinner. This stuff is too awful to eat; tonight, when we get ho, I'm making a grand al."
After finishing, he said to Amber:
"Does this kind of food suit your taste? Children are still growing; if you're still hungry, you can eat my share too."
Amber: "..."
Now red, Amber truly blushed.
She tightly clenched her fist, experiencing for the first ti the urge to actively attack soone.
If it tastes bad, just don't eat it, why didn't you say so earlier?
When lunch ended, Wu Chang and Erin took the hiccuping Amber outdoors to sit down, Wu Chang inquired:
"Before those few tis, were they like this ti, all trying to kill you?"

Erin didn't speak, rely placing her palm on Amber's shoulder, conveying a subtle warmth.
Feeling inexplicable comfort, Amber slowly raised her palm, gently high-fiving Wu Chang.
Wu Chang said, "Miss Amber, the pact is sealed."
In the afternoon during class, Amber unexpectedly began listening attentively to the lecture, neither daydreaming nor skipping off to other places.
She didn't understand why; maybe it was because she had agreed to Wu Chang, or maybe believing Wu Chang could truly help her free herself from everything, break through the predicant.
Halfway through the course, she suddenly felt the classroom beco quiet, the teacher's voice ceased.
Cautiously raising her head, she saw the teacher still writing content on the blackboard, yet turned and stared fixedly at her.
