As the days went by.

"The Young Master really can smile! And his smile is so beautiful."
The Maid, Cuicui, leaned over the edge of the cradle, happily poking Xiao Mo’s cheek.

Another two months passed. Xiao Mo was now four months old.

Cuicui wondered if her eyes were deceiving her. She rubbed them and looked again.
But her young master was still lying in bed, fast asleep.
Cuicui thought to herself, ’Am I really hallucinating?’
’Maybe it’s because I’ve been too tired lately. I must be seeing things...’
’Otherwise, how could such a tiny baby crawl so fast...’
Before long, Xiao Mo was no longer satisfied with crawling. He began trying to stand.

Finally, Xiao Mo managed to stand up while holding onto the railing, but he lost his balance and, with a PLOP, sat right back down on his bottom on the bed.
"It’s okay, Mo’er." Zhou Ruoxi quickly gathered the child into her arms, gently patting his little bottom. "Mo’er tried so hard. It’s okay if you can’t stand up yet. You’ll be able to when you’re a little bigger."
Although his mother said that, Xiao Mo didn’t give up.
He often tried to pull himself up using the bed railing.
By his seventh month, Xiao Mo could already stand steadily while holding the bed railing. He could even let go and stand for a full ten breaths.
Naturally, Zhou Ruoxi was overjoyed by these achievents her son had made.
