“Did you both sleep well last night?”
Lin Fang looked at the pair, a bright smile on his face as he spoke.

Xiao Yifeng nodded.
“Then… did you two, uh…”
Lin Fang gave them a playful, suggestive grin.
“Father! What are you asking?!”
Lin Feeng’s face flushed red as she scrambled to respond.
“I’m just saying—I’m eagerly waiting to et my grandchild. You two can’t keep waiting too long. Alright, go eat sothing!”
Lin Fang chuckled and walked off, leaving the two behind.

Lin Feeng let out a soft sigh, her gaze a mix of complexity.

Xiao Yifeng looked at Lin Feeng, puzzled.

Lin Feeng shook her head, though her heart felt burdened. The truth she couldn’t voice was that, for so reason, she still couldn’t consummate her relationship with Xiao Yifeng. Although the two had shared the sa bed last night, nothing had happened between them.

“What’s wrong, Brother Xiao?”
Lin Feeng looked at him, perplexed.
“Soone just spoke to !”
Xiao Yifeng replied.
“Soone spoke to you? No, I didn’t hear anything,”
Lin Feeng shook her head.
“Boy, it seems you’ve really sealed off all your mories. Was this necessary? Just because you took a hit? If you can’t handle this much, how will you accomplish anything great?”
Long Qian remarked.
“Who are you? Show yourself!”
Xiao Yifeng constantly shouted.
“Use your brain, will you? I’m in your head. Stop speaking; just think it in your mind. You’re so unbelievably clueless! Do I really have to teach you again?”
Long Qian scolded in exasperation.
Hearing Long Qian’s words, Xiao Yifeng cald down. Suddenly, he saw a golden Dragon Soul within his own mind. Slightly startled, he thought to himself,

Xiao Yifeng gave a simple response.

Lin Feeng looked at Xiao Yifeng with concern written all over her face.

“Really? Why don’t we check it out?”

“No, it’s too dangerous. Let’s not!”
Lin Feeng quickly grabbed Xiao Yifeng’s hand to stop him.
“Alright.”
Xiao Yifeng nodded, stealing one last glance at the eerie forest before following Lin Feeng away.
Ti sped by, and another day had flown past. Night soon blanketed the world once again.
After dinner, Xiao Yifeng and Lin Feeng returned to their room to rest. In the middle of the night, Xiao Yifeng’s eyes suddenly opened. Glancing at the sleeping Lin Feeng beside him, he quietly got out of bed and left the room.
As soon as Xiao Yifeng stepped out, Little Xiuxiu leaped onto his shoulder.
“You little one, are you coming too?”
Xiao Yifeng smiled at the creature before heading toward the forbidden zone. For so inexplicable reason, he felt deeply drawn to the place. Taking advantage of the late hour, he decided to explore it.
Soon, Xiao Yifeng arrived at the edge of the forbidden forest. Scanning his surroundings, he stepped inside without hesitation.
Once he entered, the forest grew eerily dim. Towering trees surrounded him, offering no signs of other life.
