As Xiao Yifeng walked, he started to feel disoriented, as if he was just walking in circles.

“Formations? What are those?”

Displeased, Xiao Yifeng glared at Little Xiuxiu as he spoke.

Just at that mont, a beastly roar so chilling it made one’s scalp crawl echoed from behind Xiao Yifeng, startling him. He spun around, only to see a massive beast towering two or three ters high appear before him.
The creature’s fur stood on end like sharp spikes, and its eyes—larger than copper gongs—glead with a bloodthirsty light as they locked onto Xiao Yifeng.
An aura of despair emanated from the beast, bearing down on Xiao Yifeng, leaving him struggling to breathe and making his legs tremble uncontrollably.

Staring at his intact body in astonishnt, Xiao Yifeng could hardly believe he had survived the fall unscathed.
But soon, the atmosphere around him began to feel off, and when he swept his gaze around, his eyes widened in horror and he staggered backward.
In front of him appeared faces contorted with malice—not human faces, but patches of gray entities that had transford into sinister visages. Thick clouds of malevolent energy enveloped them, resembling vengeful spirits as they fixed their furious gazes on Xiao Yifeng.
“What the hell are these things?”
Feeling like he was nearing the breaking point, Xiao Yifeng groaned in despair. First, he encountered the terrifying beast; then, leaping into the abyss resulted in him facing a group of such entities.

Stretching endlessly around him was a barren expanse of yellow sand, perated with a desolate atmosphere. Surrounding him were scattered skeletal remains, their white bones gleaming starkly. As he ventured further, Xiao Yifeng uncovered broken and shattered weapons littering the ground.
A gentle breeze swept through, stirring up the yellow sand and filling the air with mourning. So parts of the sand still retained faint crimson stains, which seed impervious to ti and weather. The air itself carried a thick mixture of bloodshed and malevolence.
The place resembled a battlefield, leaving Xiao Yifeng shocked and bewildered. He could not fathom how the forbidden abyss under the Miao Clan’s forest harbored such a location.
