Yan Xinxin was suddenly at a loss for words.
Her face flushed red, her beautiful eyes wide with astonishnt, as she watched Mo Chuxi calmly holding little Chenxi and turning away.

That ambiguous word made Yan Xinxin’s heart miss a beat.
Mo Chuxi lingered in the living room for a while before quickly heading to his room for a shower.
He changed into a simple yet casual outfit, his tall and slender figure standing before the floor-to-ceiling window as he coldly spoke on the phone.
The golden hues of the sunset quietly fell across his handso features, softening the sharp contours of his face.

The dinner ingredients were ready, so she focused all her attention on preparing the cake.
Mo Chuxi stepped out of his room and passed by the open-concept kitchen. He noticed Yan Xinxin wearing an apron, standing by the counter with her head lowered, deeply absorbed in spreading cream.
A soft golden glow from the sunset gently rested on her delicate profile, casting a light shimr of golden threads over her sculpted brows. Her gentle beauty and snowy white skin seed even more refined and smooth.
Mo Chuxi felt as though sothing inside his chest suddenly broke free and surfaced. A subtle itch lingered in his heart, and while Yan Xinxin’s slender fingers were ticulously decorating the cake, it felt to him as though those fingers had sohow tangled with his heartstrings.
He stood and watched her for quite so ti before finally stepping forward.
Yan Xinxin was so engrossed in her task that she only realized soone was approaching when Mo Chuxi was already behind her.
"Young Master Mo, the kitchen isn’t a place for you. Why don’t you go have so tea and keep the two little ones company?"
She said this indifferently without turning around.
In truth, she was still sulking a bit.
The events of the day were sothing she had yet to fully co to terms with.
What surprised her even more was Mo Chuxi’s connection to Xu Nuo—a relationship that seed anything but ordinary. And vaguely, she felt as though she had beco so sort of "pawn" in the dynamic between Xu Nuo and him.
Though she voiced her thoughts, Yan Xinxin sensed that Mo Chuxi didn’t really have much of a reaction to her words.
It left her feeling a little puzzled. Just as she was about to turn around, she unexpectedly found her slender back pressed against sothing warm—his chest.
Her left hand, which held the cake decorating nail, was suddenly covered by a larger, warr hand—Mo Chuxi’s palm.
In that mont of skin-to-skin contact, Yan Xinxin felt an electric jolt course through her, her heart skipping a beat for just one second.
What was happening?
What was he trying to do?
Yan Xinxin’s beautiful eyes swirled in chaos, her heartbeat racing like a frightened rabbit.
Mo Chuxi’s chest was now pressed firmly against her back, leaving no space between them. He leaned down slightly, and that clean, elegant scent unique to him quickly enveloped her senses.
