Mo Chuxi’s voice was like a cello, deep and lodious, resonating softly in her ears.
He reached out, encircling her shoulders, pulling her into his embrace.
The faint and elegant scent quickly enveloped her. Yan Xinxin reached out to resist, pushing him away before getting out of bed.
"Yan Xinxin."
Mo Chuxi turned on the light, his gaze tightening as he saw Yan Xinxin’s back standing beside the bed.
"You’re forcing ."
"I’m forcing you?"
Yan Xinxin turned around, her tone laced with irony.
"Right now, I only want to know where Chun is."
"Even if Chun cos back, if our family can’t be whole, then it’s better to keep things as they are."
"Mo Chuxi!"
Hearing these words, Yan Xinxin suddenly rushed to him in agitation, grabbing the collar of his shirt with both hands, her stern gaze piercing straight at him.
"So what you’re saying is, unless I forgive you for what you did back then, you won’t let see Chun? Is that it?"
Mo Chuxi grasped her hands, his lips parting slightly.
"Fine! I forgive you! I’m forgiving you right now, is that good enough? I want to see Chun! I want to see my daughter...!"
Before her words were fully out, Yan Xinxin suddenly winced in pain, raising a hand to clutch her chest.
Mo Chuxi imdiately felt a stabbing ache in his own heart, as if it mirrored hers.
"Yan Xinxin, if you want to see Chun, you need to take care of yourself first. That’s the absolute condition for you to see her again."

The morning light seeped through the sheer curtains, casting soft golden hues upon the carpet.
Yan Xinxin slowly opened her eyes, realizing she was alone in the bed.
After washing up, just as she was about to head downstairs, she heard lively laughter floating in from outside. Turning, she walked toward the balcony, and upon opening the glass doors, she saw Yan Chenxi and little Chenxi joyfully running and playing in the hydrangea-filled garden.
Seeing this scene, the shadows and unease in her heart seed to dissipate silently.
Without hesitation, Yan Xinxin turned and headed downstairs.
As she ca down, Sister Lin, who was bustling in the kitchen preparing breakfast, imdiately walked over respectfully to greet her.
"Good morning, Young Madam!"
This sudden show of deference caught Yan Xinxin off guard. Looking at Sister Lin’s beaming expression, she offered a faint smile and quickly walked out to the garden.
The early sumr breeze carried the faint fragrance of fresh grass, fluttering coolly against her skin.
"Xi, little Chenxi."
Yan Xinxin called out. Hearing her voice, the two little ones stopped in their tracks, and soon began scampering toward her on their short, stubby legs.
Sitting in the glass greenhouse, Mo Chuxi lazily lifted his gaze to glance at the mother and children’s reunion scene, then slowly stood up.
"Mama~ you ca back!"
"Xinxin, you’re so an! You didn’t even care about !"
Little Yan Chenxi gazed at her with teary eyes, looking as if he was on the verge of crying.
With a guilty look, Yan Xinxin crouched down and held both children’s hands.
"I’m sorry, Xi. Xinxin promises you, no matter where I go in the future, I’ll take you with , okay?"
"That’s more like it!"
Yan Chenxi sniffled, his pout softening slightly.
"Mama, Mama~ what about ?"
Little Chenxi tugged on her arm, her crystal-clear eyes blinking expectantly.
Smiling, Yan Xinxin gently stroked the little girl’s head.
"Mama also promises Chenxi that I’ll never leave her behind ever again."
"Hmm... But I’m not called ’Chenxi’ anymore! Papa gave a new na!"
