"Xi, tonight Little Xinxin will tell you stories and sleep next to you, okay?"
"Hmph."
"If Little Xinxin isn’t enough, then how about your dad joins us too, okay?"
"No! I don’t want that lousy dad!"
Yan Chenxi protested vehently.
"I hate that lousy dad!"
As he spoke, he turned away and walked off.
"Xi..."
Yan Xinxin hurried after him, but barely managed a few steps before she noticed the little guy stopped in his tracks.
She raised her eyes and saw a tall, handso figure standing in front of the child.
"Chuxi?"
She gasped softly, witnessing Mo Chuxi curling his lips into a gentle smile directed at her.
Young Yan Chenxi stood rooted in place, staring in awe at Mo Chuxi for a mont before snapping back to his senses.
"Hmph!"
He let out a prideful huff and turned again, heading toward the courtyard.
"Xi..."
Watching her son’s indifferent attitude toward Mo Chuxi, Yan Xinxin grew more concerned and quickly turned to follow him.
But before she could take another step, her wrist was caught by Mo Chuxi once again.
"Chuxi?"
"Leave it to ."
He spoke softly.

Yan Xinxin was about to voice her concern, but as soon as she got out two words, Mo Chuxi gently placed his long, slender finger against her lips to silence her.
She gazed at him, blinking her clear, watery eyes in curiosity.

"Xinxin, have you ever heard the saying, ’The cure for a broken heart is love’?"
Mo Chuxi spoke gently, his sumry, radiant gaze wrapping around her puzzled expression.
"I can help you let love overshadow your hate for , and I’m confident that I can make Xi stop hating as his so-called lousy dad."
He curved his lips in a faint smile, the confidence in his eyes one of Mo Chuxi’s most dazzling traits.
This man was always self-assured, so utterly flawless.
Yan Xinxin watched Mo Chuxi’s striking figure as he walked outside, her cheeks tinged red.
When you like soone, even just watching their back is enough to make your heart flutter.
She stared dreamily at Mo Chuxi’s silhouette, unwilling to look away until he completely disappeared from sight and she reluctantly turned back...
But the mont she turned, she felt soone standing behind her from the corner of her eye.
Yan Xinxin quickly pivoted to the side, just in ti to hear the loud "crash" of sothing shattering as a figure behind her abruptly collapsed to the ground!
