As Yan Zhirou stared questioningly at the man before her, Ye Lirong's excited voice ca from downstairs.
She was rushing back in a hurry to tell Yan Zhirou that Young Master Mo had once again secretly co by to see her daughter!
Yan Xinxin thought sothing had happened, but as Ye Lirong ascended the stairs, her face was brimming with an irrepressible smile.
"Rou, just now when I was grocery shopping, I saw..."
Ye Lirong spoke excitedly but froze when she spotted the group standing at the doorway, her smile abruptly vanishing.
"Old Yan?!"
Her eyes widened in disbelief, utterly stunned.
The group stood silently by the doorway for a while before stepping inside.
Yan Xinxin made so tea—the favorite brew of Yan Guoping from years ago—as he sat down.
Ye Lirong couldn't make sense of the situation and began to feel uneasy.

Yan Guoping chuckled, his affectionate gaze resting on his young grandson.
"I don't understand myself either. They told inside that I had encountered a benefactor."
"A benefactor? What benefactor?" Yan Zhirou grew curious.
Yan Xinxin listened passively, and Mo Chuxi's face inexplicably surfaced in her mind.
