Good news?
Young Master Mo’s heart started beating faster.
"Daddy, where’s Mommy?"
Chun tugged at Young Master Mo’s pant leg with her chubby little hands and asked.
"Good news? Is it sothing we like?"
Xi tilted his head curiously, blinking his eyes as he asked.
The doctor chuckled and followed up with heartfelt praise.
"Young Master Mo’s daughter and son already look outstanding. I believe the two babies Madam Mo is expecting this ti will surely be exceptional as well."
Though it sounded like a complint, Young Master Mo didn’t think much of it at first.
But upon closer thought, he suddenly raised his handso, deep eyes.
"Did you just say, two babies? Two?!"
"That’s right."
The doctor smiled and nodded affirmatively.
"From the examination results, we heard two distinct heartbeats."
"Two heartbeats..."
"Yep yep, two..."
Xi and Chun echoed each other in their innocent chatter, not quite grasping the full aning.
But at this mont, Young Master Mo’s delight was unmistakable.
Two!

"Are they twins—a boy and a girl—or siblings?"
He eagerly enquired.
The doctor didn’t intend to keep him guessing.
"If Young Master Mo wishes, I can..."
"Chuxi."
A soft voice from Yan Xinxin interrupted the doctor’s words.
Seeing her erge from the ER, Young Master Mo imdiately lost interest in hearing more, and hurried to the side of her bed, holding her hand.
His warm gaze softened as he looked at her, his lips parting with gentle words.
"Xinxin."
"Mm."
Yan Xinxin responded faintly, her cheeks tinged with a subtle blush.
"I want to go ho first."
"Can you go ho now?"
Young Master Mo was still concerned.
The doctor, who overheard, stepped forward promptly.
"With a family doctor present, Madam Mo can be discharged. She’s not facing any serious issues—she just needs plenty of rest on a daily basis."
"Hear that? You can rest assured now, right?"
Yan Xinxin gently smiled as she looked at the worry-filled man in front of her.
Young Master Mo raised his hand and lightly brushed her nose, his spring-like warmth drawing envious blushes from nearby nurses.

He wanted nothing more than to reach ho quickly so Yan Xinxin could rest, but he was worried that driving too fast might unsettle her.
By the ti they arrived ho, the evening sky was already beginning to dim.
Walking in the yard were Lin Yuan’ai and the Old Madam Mo, who looked up and imdiately noticed Young Master Mo sweetly holding Yan Xinxin’s hand as they entered the house. Trailing behind them, the two little ones walked at a much slower pace, mumbling sothing under their breath.
"Brother, do you prefer a younger brother or a younger sister?"

Xi thought it over and answered with confidence.
Chun blinked her eyes rapidly.
"Why? Does Brother not like sisters?"
"I do, I only like Chun Sister."
He stated seriously, not forgetting to glance at Chun as he spoke.
Chun blinked again, puzzled, her brows slightly furrowing.
"But, but Daddy said, one’s a brother, one’s a sister!"
"No, I think both will be brothers!"
"Hmm..."
"My little master and my little princess, what are you two talking about—what’s this about two?"
Lin Yuan’ai said with a laugh.
Xi and Chun stopped in their tracks and lifted their heads to look up.
"Grandma, Great-Grandma."
The two children called out in unison.
Lin Yuan’ai and the Old Madam Mo both nodded with delight.
"Tell your Great-Grandma, what are you two siblings discussing? Did you have fun at the amusent park today?"
"It was fun. Later, we even went to the hospital. Mommy wasn’t feeling well here."
Chun pointed to her own tummy.
Lin Yuan’ai and the Old Madam Mo’s expressions changed, their eyes now tinged with worry.
"Why did you go to the hospital? What’s wrong with Chun’s mommy?"
The Old Madam Mo asked anxiously.
Chun blinked, her tiny lips moving lightly.
"The doctor uncle said there are two heartbeats inside Mommy here, so Daddy asked him if it’s brothers, sisters, or one brother and one sister."
