She glanced back at the Sovereign Sli. The rim of her round plate was still wedged deep within the Alpha’s translucent chest, glinting like a prize at the bottom of a cereal box. A wide, predatory smile spread across Maddy’s face. She hadn’t lost it; she had just left a tether.
"Found it!"
She didn’t use the silk thread to pull the heavy tal back to her. Instead, she braced her core and tightened her grip on the gossar line still attached to the handle. Using her Charging Strength to create tension, she yanked herself forward.
Instead of falling toward the ground, Maddy’s body snapped back toward the monster. She used the silk as a high speed winch, turning herself into a living projectile.
"I’m coming back for seconds! This ti, I’m not just eating you... I’m ingesting you!"
Maddy braced her short sword, her eyes locked on the golden core. She intended to stop the sli from recovering or producing even a single breath of mana. She no longer used her monster traits as separate tools; she embodied all of them at once.
Her spine adjusted with the grace of the Dao Deer, her muscles coiled with the power of the Bomb Boar, and her feet gripped the air with the precision of the Blade Bunny. She raised her sword high, a silver streak rocketing through the golden haze.

She adjusted her grip.
"Besides, the harder the shell, the more satisfying the crack. It’s ti to open up! Rough Chop!"
She initiated her assault with a Rough Chop. She channeled her total body mass into a heavy, downward strike, trading finesse for raw, explosive force. The blade whistled, vibrating with the sheer montum of her descent.
The diamond hard exterior buckled under the intensity of the swing, shattering the mineral mimicry into a thousand shards. The sheer power of the blow sent a massive stagger effect through the Alpha, forcing its core to flare in montary panic.
With the armor compromised, Maddy did not pause.
"Got you! Hide behind all the pretty layers you want—I’ve cut through tougher. n who thought they were kings... and you both still split the sa!"
Her blade flashed.

The blade hissed through the air. She delivered a perfect cross-slash, hitting the horizontal and vertical axes at the sa ti. The golden jelly split into four massive, equal quarters. The monster tried to pull its mass back together, but Maddy’s precision left no gaps for the mana to heal.

She saw the Alpha’s internal core begin to glow. It was trying to summon its army of small subordinates again to distract her. Thousands of tiny golden buds started to pop up across its surface like a rash.

Maddy launched herself forward. Her sword beca a needle of silver light. She perford a long, precise stab that traveled through every single barrier in a straight line. The golden walls fell apart like paper. She moved with such focus that the sli couldn’t even register her movent before she was already on the other side.
The Alpha scread. It whipped its remaining massive arms around, trying to crush her from two different directions at once. The golden fists were huge, closing in like a giant pair of cymbals.

Maddy didn’t back down. She struck with two intersecting slashes, forming a giant ’X’ in the air. The strikes t the incoming fists with a violent crash. The angles of her blades diverted the force of the punch, slicing through the Alpha’s arms and pinning them to the ground.
She stood directly in front of the exposed, throbbing golden core. The Sovereign Sli was weak. Its glow was fading, and its body was losing its shape.
"It’s ti to plate this dish."
Maddy cald her breathing. She lowered her sword, her body becoming perfectly still. She didn’t waste a single spark of energy. She channeled every bit of her strength, her Sword Mastery, and her Chira traits into the very tip of her iron blade.
"Clean Cut."
A single, silent flash of silver.
The movent was so small it looked like she had only tapped the air. But the energy transfer was absolute. The golden core of the Sovereign Sli shattered. A web of white light spread through the entire house sized body.
With a soft, lodic pop, the massive Alpha dissolved. It didn’t splash or explode. Instead, it fell to the ground in thousands of uniform, bite sized cubes of shimring, honey flavored jelly.
Maddy stood in the center of the square, her sword already clicking back into its sheath. She looked at the piles of high-quality dessert surrounding her and let out a long, satisfied sigh.
"Justice has been served and it’s delicious!"
