Not the ones who only liked her because of her looks or wanted to show her off like a prize. She wasn’t going to say yes to just any guy.

She was waiting for the best one. The one who’d truly see her worth.

As the car pulled up near her tall residential tower, Olivia stepped out and fixed her burgundy hair gently with one hand. She adjusted her bag and was about to head to the entrance with grace when she froze.

Three annoying figures were standing near the gate. Jean, Ruby, and Tan.

Her mood, which had just been lifted by luxury cars and extra credit cards, dropped right into the basent.

She turned slightly, pretending not to see them.

Maybe if she walked fast, she could avoid them...

"Olivia!" Jean’s loud voice cut through the air like a siren. "Hey, Olivia! You’re back already?"

Olivia sighed inside. She forced a calm expression and turned slowly.

Jean rushed over to her like a nosy neighbor in a drama show. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she looked back at the car, which was now driving away.

"Whose car was that, huh?" Jean asked with a sly grin. "And who was that handso boy? He looked like he ca straight out of a movie!"

Ruby walked over, eyes wide and excited. "Yeah! He was soooo handso," she said, twirling a strand of her hair. "Is he single? Does he have a brother? Or maybe... I don’t mind if he’s older."

Olivia stood there, blinking slowly like she was trying to figure out if they were actually real people or just walking, talking problems in human skin.

She looked at Jean and Ruby with a cool expression and didn’t answer right away.

Finally, Olivia gave a polite, fake smile and said, "Oh... him? Just soone I t by accident."

Jean raised an eyebrow. "Accident? That accident looked rich and shiny to ."

Ruby grinned and whispered, "If he’s free, I really wouldn’t mind getting his number."

Olivia’s eyes narrowed slightly. She was already getting tired of them.

"I don’t share my things," she said casually, brushing past them.

Jean and Ruby both looked at each other, unsure if they had just been burned or warned.

Just as Olivia was about to walk away, Ruby quickly stepped forward and called out, "Wait! Is that guy really your boyfriend?"

Olivia turned her head slightly and gave a small nod. "Yeah. He is."

Ruby’s smile instantly faded. Her heart sank. Again? Another guy choosing Olivia over her? She stared at Olivia’s beautiful face, flawless skin, long burgundy hair, and those sharp, confident eyes. For a mont, Ruby couldn’t help but bla her own family.

’Why did I have to be born with such bad genes?’

Still, Ruby forced a smile back on her face. "Oh, wow... lucky you! Um, does he have any friends? Like, soone as rich and handso as him?"

Olivia shook her head slowly. "Nope. He doesn’t."

Ruby’s smile cracked a little more. "Oh... that’s too bad." Then suddenly, her eyes lit up. "Wait! What if... what if I beco his sister? I an, like a sworn sister, not real, of course!"

She blinked sweetly at Olivia. "If I get so benefits by being his sister, I’ll share them with you. Promise."

But deep down, Ruby’s thoughts were darker.

’Once I beco his "sister," I’ll just get closer... and closer. One day, he’ll fall for . And then...Olivia can go cry in her Chanel pillow.’

Olivia suddenly chuckled, and her laugh wasn’t friendly.

She looked straight at Ruby. "Do I have the word ’idiot’ written on my face?"

Ruby blinked. "What?"

Olivia’s voice was calm but sharp. "Because you clearly think I’m one. It’s obvious from your face. You want to seduce him. This whole ’sister’ thing is just a scam."

Ruby looked like soone had stepped on her tail. Her face turned red. "You can’t talk to like that!"

Olivia tilted her head. "You’re right. There is sothing wrong with the way I’m talking to you."

Ruby smirked for a second, but then Olivia finished, "But isn’t it worse that you’re drooling over soone else’s boyfriend?"

Ruby’s jaw dropped. Her mouth opened and closed like a goldfish, but no words ca out.

’This girl’s mouth is poisonous!’ Ruby scread in her head. ’Too poisonous!’

Jean, standing beside them, quickly jumped in, acting like a peacemaker. "Okay, okay, enough. Ruby was just being silly. Olivia, don’t take it so seriously."

She smiled sweetly and patted Olivia’s arm like they were best friends.

Olivia raised one eyebrow. "I’m not mad. I’m just scared."

Jean paused. "Scared? Of us?"

Olivia looked at her calmly. "Yes. You three tricked my mother. What if you try the sa thing on ?"

The mont she said those words, Jean, Ruby, and Tan froze like statues.

She knows!

Their smiles disappeared, and panic filled their eyes. Olivia already knew the truth. Their little ga was over.

Olivia turned to the security guard near the gate and said clearly,

"Throw these three out. They don’t belong here."

The guard stepped forward, ready to act, but Jean quickly stepped in front of him and grabbed Olivia’s arm.

"Wait! Please, Olivia!" Jean cried. "We’re not here to cause trouble. I promise!"

Ruby and Tan circled around her like scared puppies.

"Yeah, you’re being too harsh," Tan added weakly. "We weren’t going to do anything bad."

Jean held Olivia’s hand tightly. "I’m just here to apologize to Mary. I admit it.. I ssed up. I took credit for sothing May did. But I want to fix it. We’re only here to pass on a letter from May, that’s all."

Olivia raised an eyebrow. "A letter?"

Jean quickly nodded and pulled out a clean white envelope. "Yes! Here. It’s for Mary."

Olivia took the letter with one hand and looked at it.

She didn’t even have to open it to know sothing was off.

The paper was too new.

The ink still slled fresh.

Even the way the letters were written, it looked like soone had tried very hard to sound emotional, but it just ca off like fake poetry.

Olivia opened it and started reading out loud in a flat voice.

"Dear Mary, if you’re reading this, I’m already gone. Jean was always there for . Please take care of her. She supported through everything..."

Olivia rolled her eyes.

The whole letter was just one ssage repeated over and over... Mary should take care of Jean. That Jean was like a sister. That Jean was the only one May ever trusted.

Olivia snapped the letter shut.

She looked at Jean and smiled coldly. "Did you write this?"

Jean’s face turned red. "W-what? No! Of course not!"

Olivia chuckled. "Nice try. The ink hasn’t even dried yet."

Jean’s mouth opened, but she didn’t speak.

Ruby and Tan looked like they wanted to run away and hide.

Olivia handed the letter back to the guard. "Take this fake thing and toss them all out."

The guard nodded and stepped forward again.

Jean shouted, "Wait! Please! Just listen..."

Olivia didn’t even turn around when Jean begged her to listen.

She just walked away like their voices didn’t even exist.

The guards, seeing Olivia’s calm but firm reaction, didn’t waste any more ti. They stepped forward and grabbed Jean, Ruby, and Tan by the arms.

"Hey! Let go! I’m not finished talking!" Jean shouted, trying to shake the guard off.

But the guards didn’t care.

They weren’t paid to listen to sob stories. They were trained to protect their residents and follow orders.

Before long, the three people were being dragged out of the fancy gates of the residential building, their complaints fading into the distance.

Once they were gone, Olivia finally relaxed. She entered the elevator and headed straight to Mary’s apartnt.

When she opened the door, Mary was sitting on the couch reading sothing. She looked up, surprised to see Olivia.

"Back already?" Mary asked.

Olivia nodded and sat down beside her. "You won’t believe what just happened."

She told Mary everything... from Jean trying to act innocent, to the fake letter, to them pretending to care about May just to get close to Mary.

By the ti Olivia was finished, Mary’s mouth was slightly open in disbelief.

"Seriously?" Mary said. "I can’t believe they thought that would actually work."

Olivia crossed her arms. "They must think you’re too soft. That’s why I’m warning you... stay away from people like them. Who knows what trick they’ll pull next."

Mary nodded slowly. "Don’t worry. I get it now. I’ll be more careful."

Olivia gave her a satisfied nod, stood up, and walked out of the room.

As she passed the living room, she noticed Aurora sitting cross-legged on the big sofa. The table in front of her was covered with chocolate bars, wrappers, glue sticks, markers, ribbons, and pieces of cardboard.

"What are you doing?" Olivia asked as she walked closer.

Aurora didn’t look up. "Making sothing."
