Olivia, Lucas, and Theodore looked at Adriana in admiration.
Even Aurora looked at Adriana with a worshipping gaze. Without Adriana, she didn’t know what story she might have co up with.
Adriana on the other hand felt a bit proud, yet she put on a calm facade.
With the help of Sophia, Adam sued Gray Winston while Emily sent the divorce paper to George.
The hearings for Adam’s case were on next Friday.
Aurora and Emily on the other hand started to proceed toward their next plan.
With more than $700,000, Aurora asked Emily to buy a good property and put it under Adam’s na.
For Aurora, $700,000 was a lot but to afford a proper house or apartnt, she needed at least $800,000.
But after looking around, Emily finally got 2 houses in the suburbs of New York for $720,000.
She contacted Sophia and told her the plan.

Emily asked Adam and Mary to accompany her to et Sophia.
Adam and Mary were puzzled but when they heard that the matter was related to her divorce, they imdiately followed her.
Sophia got straight to the point,
"As you know Emily is about to divorce."
Adam and Mary nodded.
Adam and Mary listened carefully, their eyes focused on Sophia as she continued speaking.
"Emily is not just getting a divorce," Sophia said seriously. "She is also very wealthy."
Adam and Mary agreed. They knew this too.
Sophia nodded,
"Emily owns several properties, and she has a lot of money saved up. But now that she’s divorcing George, she needs to protect her assets."
Mary’s eyes widened. "Protect? What do you an?"
Sophia sighed.
"If Emily keeps everything in her na, George might try to take it from her during the divorce. He could use legal tricks to claim part of her money or even so of her properties."
Adam’s face darkened. "That scumbag... he has already taken so much from her."
Emily gave a small, nervous smile but didn’t say anything.
Sophia continued,
"That’s why Emily needs to transfer everything to soone she trusts. Soone close to her. And right now, she doesn’t know anyone better than the two of you."
There was silence. Adam and Mary looked at each other, then back at Emily.
"You want us to take everything under our na?" Mary asked, her voice unsure.
Sophia nodded.
"Yes. It will only be on paper. The properties and money will still belong to Emily, but legally, George won’t be able to touch them if they’re in your nas."
Adam crossed his arms.
"This... this is a big decision. I don’t care about the money, but are you sure about this, Emily?"
Emily finally spoke, her voice soft but steady.
"I trust both of you. More than anyone else."
She hesitated, then added,
"And I need your help. If George gets his hands on my money, he won’t stop until he ruins ."
Mary bit her lip, thinking hard. She could see the fear in Emily’s eyes, and that made her heart ache.
Adam sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "If this will keep you safe, then... I’ll do it."
Mary took a deep breath and nodded. " too."
A small smile appeared on Emily’s face, and for the first ti in a long while, she looked relieved.
"Thank you," she whispered.
Sophia nodded approvingly. "Alright, then let’s start the paperwork."
No such transfer happened after all the houses were bought in Adam and Mary’s na in the first place.
The mont Adam and Emily received the paper, Aurora’s bank account was updated.
$1.44 million.
Staring at her bank account Aurora’s heart skipped a beat.
$1.44 million! Finally! Finally, she can buy houses in New York!
But at the sa ti, Aurora started wondering about taxes and arousing the governnt’s suspicions.
Taking a deep breath, Aurora suppressed her doubts and bought a house in New York for $1.2 million.
Emily worked quickly and presented the paper to Adam and Mary.
Once again Aurora’s net worth increased.
$2.64 million.
In the next week, Aurora bought more than 5 houses, all with the help of Emily.
In the end, her bank account reached $12 million.
Aurora felt as if everything was unreal.
She had $12 million under her na, while her family assets were worth more than $10 million!
With their combined wealth they could be called millionaires!
Ah! Her life is truly blissful.
But as the month was nearing its end, Aurora started to get worried.
She had only 2 weeks left before she fell into a coma.
$12 million may seem a lot to her but the problem was when compared to the billionaire her family mbers were going to face off and the heiress she was going to bully, it wasn’t much.

The day of the hearing arrived.
The Waters family walked inside with a confident aura.
They were sure that with Sophia by their side and the evidence they had collected, Adam’s innocence would be proved.
Aurora due to her dical condition couldn’t attend the hearing but with Emily’s help, she had a regular update on the situation.
Gray Winston looked at the Waters family and a deep look appeared in his eyes.
At first when he received the legal notice he was surprised but he kind of expected such a reaction.
However, he had confidence in his lawyer.
As for the Waters family?
Gray Winston laughed in his heart.
They might not even have money to afford a regular lawyer and were going to apply for a public lawyer.
But he had already made so arrangents and made sure that they would get none.
Once he wins the case, he will ask for $100,000 as compensation.
With their current situation, the Waters Family will never be able to afford it.
Adriana and Lucas will be forced to drop out and Olivia and Theodore might not be able to attend any university at all.
This will create resentnt in their heart for their own father and they will eventually live an unhappy life.
At first, Gray didn’t plan to go that far but the legal notice ignited a spark of hatred in his heart.
How dare they challenge ?
Gray Winston smirked as he adjusted his expensive suit.
He glanced at his lawyer, a sharp-looking man with a confident smirk.
"Make sure we win this case," Gray said coldly.
The lawyer chuckled.
"Of course, Mr. Winston. Their so-called evidence won’t hold up in court."
Gray Winston nodded and turned toward Adam,
"Hey old guy, you should have paid for what I had asked earlier. Now I will make sure to land you in debt."
Adam ignored him, while Adriana calmly said,
"Uncle, you are getting old, you should stop scheming against others, or else one day you might get poisoned mysteriously and won’t even know who did it."
Gray wasn’t offended instead he looked at Adriana with a lecherous look and said,
"Adam your daughter is truly beautiful, how about giving her to for one night? I will drop the case and even give you $500 extra."
Adriana’s face turned cold. Her hands clenched into fists, but she forced herself to stay calm.
"Disgusting," she said, her voice filled with contempt. "You’re nothing but trash, Gray Winston."
Adam’s eyes burned with anger. "You stay away from my daughter, you filthy bastard!"
Gray Winston just laughed.
"Angry? Good. Let’s see if you still have that attitude after I destroy you in court."
"We will see that!" Theodore rolled his eyes.
"Hey, look who is speaking. The little celebrity who just hardly able to get by. Kid if after this court session, you are unable to land any job, rember ." Gray laughed.
Theodore wasn’t to be outdone,
"What? I am already not getting any role. Even with your divine intervention, nothing will change."
Adam: "..." Foolish son, you just insulted yourself!
Mary: "..." My stupid son!
Lucas: "..." His IQ is stuck sowhere.
Olivia: "..." Is there sothing wrong with my brother.
Adriana: "..." I don’t consider him as my brother.
Gray was speechless too.
However he regained his composure soon and smiled,
"Oh? Then I will make sure you never get any role in your entire life."
Theodore waved his hand as if it wasn’t a big deal and said,
"It’s alright, I am on the verge of giving up anyway. Maybe my son or daughter will be able to shine."
Gray: "..." He is an idiot.
He cast a complex glance in Adam’s direction, who was just staring at Theodore with a deadpan look.
Gray coughed and said to Adam,
"Hey don’t mind , such products...I an children shouldn’t be enrolled in the schools at all."
