Now reading: Chapter 10: Into the King’s Chamber from Born Without Magic… So What?, a Fantasy novel by SamratKarki.

Then Arya quickly looked around.

There was nowhere to hide.

He was trapped now.

Imdiately, he checked his teleport skill again.

But it was still recovering.

The skill needed more ti before he could use it again.

That ant—

There was only one option left.

Fight.

Arya took a deep breath.

Both groups of goblin monsters were already getting closer to him through the cave hallway.

Then suddenly—

Massive flas exploded from both sides of the tunnel.

The goblins froze in shock after seeing the fire rushing toward them.

Before they could even react—

The flas swallowed them completely.

Screams echoed through the cave as the fire burned across both hallways.

This ti, Arya used his fire skill with full power.

But more than half of his energy disappeared instantly.

Creating flas that large required enormous energy.

During the past few years, Arya secretly trained every night just to level up his first skill.

Before, using the fire skill once would completely drain all his energy.

Now he could at least survive after using it.

But Arya still knew one thing clearly—

His flas were still too weak against higher-ranked monsters.

Without wasting another second, Arya imdiately ran deeper inside the cave.

After several minutes—

He finally noticed a strange glowing light coming from farther below.

Arya slowly moved toward it carefully.

At first, the light was too bright for him to see properly.

So he narrowed his eyes and looked again.

Then he finally saw it.

Behind a massive stone doorway—

There was a giant staircase leading downward.

Arya quietly moved closer and hid behind a large box near the entrance.

Then he looked down.

And the mont he saw what was below—

He froze.

It was a massive underground chamber.

Many goblin workers were moving around everywhere.

And in the center of the chamber—

There was a gigantic stone creature.

The monster looked incomplete, almost like it was still being built.

A glowing blue stone was embedded inside the middle of its chest.

The stone pulsed with strange energy.

Wooden platforms and supports surrounded the giant creature while goblins worked across different parts of its body.

So were building its arms.

Others worked near its chest and legs.

It looked like they were trying to revive the monster.

Arya’s expression changed imdiately.

The stone giant was enormous.

Its height alone was nearly equal to a two-floor building.

And in front of it—

Several goblin mages wearing black robes stood around a strange tower-like structure.

Their faces and bodies were completely hidden beneath dark clothes.

Then the goblin mages raised wooden magic staffs.

At the sa ti, they started using magic toward the glowing stone in the giant monster’s chest.

The blue crystal began shining brighter and brighter.

But after a few minutes—

One of the goblin mages suddenly collapsed onto the ground.

Other goblins imdiately rushed over, carried the unconscious goblin away, and took him through another large door nearby.

Then the door closed again.

Soon after—

Another goblin mage stepped forward and repeated the sa process.

Hours seed to pass for each goblin before collapsing from exhaustion.

Arya quietly watched everything from above.

He still did not fully understand what was happening.

He was still only a child.

Then suddenly—

Arya rembered sothing important.

After killing more than ten goblins with his fire skill before, he had absorbed strange stones from their bodies.

Using those stones helped level up his skill.

And after that—

He unlocked a new ability.

Predator.

The skill allowed him to devour creatures.

After absorbing them, he could use another skill—

Shapeshifting.

That skill let him transform into the forms of creatures he absorbed.

Without hesitation, Arya activated the skill.

His body slowly changed until he looked exactly like a goblin.

Then he picked up a wooden box nearby and started walking downstairs quietly like the other workers.

And because everyone around him looked busy—

None of the goblin monsters noticed him at all.

Then Arya slowly moved forward while carrying the box like the other goblin monsters.

He moved carefully, step by step, keeping his head low so no one would notice him.

When he reached the middle side of the chamber, he saw many boxes placed there.

Without hesitation, he put the box there so other goblins would not doubt him.

Then he moved toward the backside, blending in with the other goblin monsters.

Suddenly—

Another goblin mage fell down.

He dropped heavily on the ground and stopped moving.

Other goblin monsters rushed toward him.

Arya also went there with them.

Then he and another goblin monster picked up the fallen goblin mage and carried him toward the door side.

At the sa ti, another goblin monster took the place of the fallen one.

The ritual continued again.

The glowing blue stone inside the giant creature’s chest kept shining brighter and brighter.

Then the door opened.

When they went inside, Arya noticed sothing while carrying the goblin mage.

He grabbed the goblin monster’s hand slightly.

He felt it imdiately.

The goblin was not unconscious.

He was already dead.

That ant the goblin mages were using their life mana to revive that stone monster.

Then when they went inside the room—

Arya was shocked.

There were many goblin dead bodies lying there like a mountain.

They were thrown carelessly inside the room.

Then Arya and the others turned back to return.

The room was slightly dark.

Then he heard so sounds.

Like eating.

He turned back, but the room was too dark to see clearly from a distance.

The shadows inside the chamber felt heavy, swallowing everything beyond a few steps.

Slowly, Arya moved a little closer, trying to see through the darkness.

Then the sound beca louder.

Crunch... chew... crack...

Now it was clear, echoing through the entire room.

Arya’s eyes shifted upward.

Two glowing red eyes appeared in the darkness.

Like sothing massive was watching from within the shadows.

In the dark space, he still couldn’t see the full shape clearly.

So he took another step forward.

Then another.

As he got closer, the outline slowly started forming.

And the mont he finally saw it—

Arya froze in shock.

On the other side of the dead bodies—

Two giant goblin figures were sitting there.

Goblin King and Goblin Queen.

Both were extrely huge, their size similar to the stone monster.

Both had fat bodies, and drool was falling from their mouths.

They were eating dead goblin bodies.

The Goblin King picked up one dead body and ate half of it.

Then the Goblin Queen also did the sa.

They were eating nonstop.
