Saying that, Alia slowly walked over to the pile of Ocular Barnacles she had collected, pulled out a multi-tool knife, and started cutting them open like she knew what she was doing.
She had just used The Fixing Gaze, and she knew exactly how terrifying that power was.

Kevin instinctively took a step back and didn’t let Stephanie get close.
Besides that, he caught a familiar foul stench on Stephanie.

Kevin spread his hands and gave an innocent look. "Don’t you know how bad you actually sll?"
With Kevin bluntly calling her stench out, Stephanie completely lost it. "Kevin, don’t push your luck! Girls like ? In New York, the rich kids chasing could fill a whole soccer field."
"If we weren’t stuck on this damn ship, you wouldn’t even be on my list. And here you are, acting like you can turn down!"
Before Kevin could say anything, footsteps echoed from down the hall.
Right behind her, Luna’s voice cut in. "Lady, even if you don’t have a mirror on you, you can just look down and see for yourself?"
Stephanie spun around and glared at Luna and Alia.
Seeing the two girls covered in blood and gri, each holding basins full of creepy eyeballs, Stephanie’s legs gave out. She collapsed to the floor and scread, "What the hell are those things? Get them away from ! God damn it, what are you doing with that stuff!"

Seeing how cowardly and pathetic Stephanie looked, Luna and Alia both wore looks of pure disgust.
They had both just stared death in the face. They knew better than anyone that surviving in this world took fearless guts.
Which is why neither Alia nor Luna could stand seeing her acting so weak and scared.
Alia stepped forward and gave a calm warning. "Miss Stephanie, Kevin is our captain. He needs his rest tonight, so please don’t bother him."
With that, Alia turned around, walked back to another cabin, and locked the door behind her.
Luna just sidestepped Stephanie and walked right into the captain’s cabin.
Kevin wrapped an arm around Luna and smiled. "You’re back sooner than I thought."
Luna grinned back. "Thanks to Alia for helping out. But I’m covered in gri. I’m gonna take a shower first."
Right in front of Stephanie and Kevin, Luna started stripping. She swayed her hips as she walked into the bathroom.
Watching Luna’s retreating figure and hearing the shower water start running, resentnt flooded Stephanie’s face. "Why her? Why does she get to shower in your room?"
"Kevin, let in! I’ll wash up! I’ll make myself sll good, I swear I won’t have a stink on . I swear I’m clean. Just give a chance. I’ll make you feel amazing. You even want and that bitch to share you? Fine by !"
As she spoke, Stephanie reached out to grab onto Kevin’s leg.
Kevin moved fast. He took a quick half-step back and dodged her hands.
As she stumbled forward, he kicked her right out into the hall.

The door slamd shut. Stephanie was locked out.

Stephanie pounded on the door like a maniac. Her eyes were filled with frustration and anger.
She hadn’t broken down even after getting humiliated by Kevin, Alia, and Luna one after the other.
She was even ready to throw herself at him if it ant getting to stay in his cabin for the night.
But she never expected that Kevin wouldn’t be interested in her at all.
Stephanie howled in frustration. "Kevin! Why? Why are you treating like this? Weren’t you supposed to take care of , protect , do everything for , and put first?"
Kevin stood at the door and rolled his eyes at her rambling. "Stephanie, I don’t sleep with used goods. Besides, you think I don’t know what you just did with Leo? You reek."
Stephanie’s face turned red as her affair with Leo was laid bare. She imdiately started pounding on the door again. "Kevin, let explain! It’s not like you think! Leo forced !"
"That idiot is just a useless, impotent piece of shit. His dick wouldn’t even stay up. He didn’t do a single thing to . We hadn’t even started and he was already soft. He’s a total loser!"
Just then, Luna stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel.
Hearing her out, Luna let out a snort of laughter. She stopped Kevin from speaking and called out to the hallway.
"Miss Stephanie, you’re really pitiful. But Kevin’s got for tonight, so don’t bother taking care of him."
"Actually, Leo could use your comfort right about now."
"Oh, and I forgot to ntion. When we got back, Mr. Leo was looking all over for you."
Stephanie’s eyes went wide, her pupils shrinking to tiny dots.
She slowly turned her head and saw Leo standing just a few feet away, looking utterly broken. "Stephanie, weren’t you just comforting ? I’m not a loser! I can do it! Co back with , let’s try again. I’ll make you happy. I’ll give you a real life!"
Before she could react, Leo lunged forward, grabbed her wrist, and tried to pull her back toward the dorms.
But they hadn’t even taken a few steps before a chilling roar echoed down from the deck.
Right after that, a massive crash shook the room.
A huge hole tore open in the ceiling.
The very sa Grotesque that Alia had just blown to smithereens with her Fireball rounds ca crashing down from above.
Its charred skin and torn flesh were already knitting itself back together.
