I suppose the Heavenly Spirit's Reaction was earned; I did act a bit aloof there. I can destroy Demons Soul through a combination of many factors after all, but I never thought it was that hard. So even Angels struggle with truly slaying them?
"Anyways, I know we got little ti so please can you help?" I asked as nicely as I could.
"Ah! Yes…" she nodded. "Very well, let see… A fragnt of heaven's clouds?! And… an archangel feather! What with these gifts?! The Heavenly Will is really… Hah, based in what you've done I suppose it's well earned."
"Can you help place the Heaven Cloud in my Domain?" I asked. "I don't know how to combine it into it… Also about the feather, do you have any recomndations on how to use it?"
"Sure, I'll get to it right away."
She quickly spread out a Heavenly Spiritual Aura, grabbing the cloud and then pushing it upwards into the skies.
Her Aura then divided into thousands of different hands, molding and shaping the Domain itself and at the sa ti, placing the cloud at the "ceiling" of my domain.
By doing so, the Cloud began to rapidly spread out like dough, combining with the ceiling of the domain and then rapidly becoming one with it.
Honestly, it was an impressive showcase of power and angelic abilities, despite only being a Heavenly Spirit, it could do so much already!

As the assimilation began by my Domain, which was done almost automatically, she quickly flew back to my side glancing at while I held the feather.
"An archangel feather is a treasure among treasures," she said. "In your world you could give it any price, and anybody would buy it. But I am sure the Will of Heaven knew you wouldn't do that… It's a material, you could absorb it and enhance your Halo by a bit. Or you could… give it to soone else, and if the Will of Heaven approve, they could also gain a Halo."
"Really?!" I gasped. "Then…"

She quickly glanced at Gabriel, who was happily looking at the trees.
"I am sure this isn't sothing you have much of a choice on giving," she said. "That child is an angel, right? An archangel at that. One that lost most of their power, identity, and mories… But their soul is very powerful. So strong… could it be… Is he Gabriel?"
"Y-Yes…" I nodded. "He ca to my house asking for help once, a demon was cashing him, and I killed the demon, since then he has been living with us… Hahah."
"S-So this is where Gabriel ended on! Most of Heaven's inhabitants had been waiting for him to reincarnate in Heaven to help him recover his strength and mories but…" muttered the Heavenly Spirit. "To think he's living with you! Can't you let him go back to Heaven?"
"Apparently he ended weakened and can't fly to Heaven yet," I said. "Oh…"
Then I realized sothing.
The feather in my hands, its aura…
Was very similar to Gabriel.
"That feather is one from Gabriel's previous form," said the Heavenly Spirit. "I am fairly sure the Will of Heaven granted it to you so you could give it to him… And well, if he can't go to Heaven yet, unless angels co down here to directly bring him back, nothing much can be done… And angels are too busy, they're definitely not going to do this for now."
"Too busy? Like… always busy?" I asked.
"It started recently since that "First Contact" with the other World," she said. "Demons have beco more common in the Mortal World due to the large quantities of Mana, making it easy for them to keep their demonic powers stable without them weakening.
Nowadays, they don't even need special vessels to harbor their souls, anybody that just Awakened and has been a bit accustod to Cursed Energy can harbor their souls or make many contracts with them… So call it the New Era of Demons."
"So that's why they're busy…" I nodded. "But when I found Gabriel he was already like this, does that ans he's already reincarnated?"
"Most… likely? Or perhaps he has gone through a similar state after being attacked," she said. "Who was chasing him?"
"A third rate and very weak demon whose na I don't even rember anymore," I said. "But I think it wasn't anybody noteworthy if I could have killed it without even having a Halo yet."
"Wow… You're strong," she said. "Well, even then, perhaps… He was taken down by a much stronger demon. You know that Gabriel was one of the Seven Pillars of Heaven, right? His strength is comparable… to a Lesser God, and even stronger when he wields his Divine Equipnt. Yet sohow he was defeated so quickly, and his weakened form, which seems semi-reincarnated, ended near your house…"
"What are you trying to imply?" I wondered.
"That whoever was that enormously strong demon, they might be within this city, or close to it," she said.
We all quickly beca paralyzed for a bit… True, this place is a nest of demons and other cursed sorcerers. Whoever was the monster that killed Gabriel, it must be close to this city, it can't be here, their presence would be too strong, right?
"Maybe that imnsely powerful demon was the one that sent those sorcerers here," said Mark. "And maybe that monster was also who knew we were busy in BNLO… They probably planned it with whoever is in the Luminous Kingdom. Maybe rlinus? He gave him the demons, and then once we were caught in that event, he sent his minions IRL to eliminate us."
"Huh… How do you know about the Luminous Kingdom?" the Heavenly Spirit was shocked. "The information about the Other World… shouldn't be known by mortals."
"Ah, well… it's complicated." I said. "Not even I am sure why this ga was created. But Brand New Life Online…"
I explained to her what we knew, and she was surprised. Thus, her words completely confird it, Heaven and Hell are shared between Earth and Arcadia, who she calls "Expanded World" for so reason.
"Does Earth and this Other World have a deeper connection than we imagined?" I asked. "A-Are there other worlds connected to Heaven and Hell?"
"I don't know… I know very little as I'm just a spirit," she sighed. "Sorry."
I guess it was worth asking.
