Charlotte Miller was not afraid anymore, so why should he worry? Sotis being completely safe is not necessarily a good thing.

He wasn’t afraid of risks; when he initially decided to do this, it was more because he didn’t want Charlotte to be under too much pressure. Plus, the entire industry was watching Charlotte’s move, so he wanted her to complete the project without any burdens. Yet he realized he had always underestimated Charlotte.

"Then I’m even more intrigued, what reward will President Hallow give ?" Charlotte smiled, and her eyes seed to sparkle with countless stars; he truly could see a sky full of stars reflected in her eyes.

"What do you want? More money, perhaps expensive gifts?" Atlas Hallow’s deep laughter resonated from his chest, spreading his arms wide as if to let her take whatever she wanted.

"I’m not that materialistic, am I?" Charlotte bit her lip disdainfully.

"Hmm, very satisfying indeed. Are we a match made in heaven?" Atlas’s smile deepened and he couldn’t help but pull Charlotte into his embrace, planting a soft kiss on her lips. Her shy yet slightly aggravated expression, combined with being unable to do anything about it, made his heart itch, almost lting his entire being.

"How would I know? I’m not like you, experienced in battles. Hurry up and go, or you’ll affect my work." Charlotte pushed Atlas towards the door, really unable to spend too much ti with this man, as he always managed to get under her skin.

Being kicked out on his own turf was a first for him.

Back in his office, Atlas’s smile slowly faded, turning into a somber expression.

A casual joke from Charlotte, yet he took it seriously.

Charlotte ntioned she wasn’t as battle-hardened as he was, which made him think of Hailey Hill.

Yesterday, Hailey called, and Atlas knew without guessing what she wanted to say: she’d certainly be urging him cautiously to wrap up what he had promised.

Atlas had never regretted answering Hailey’s call. If he hadn’t agreed, if he hadn’t contacted the Miller Family, he and Charlotte might have missed each other. Without Charlotte, perhaps all won in the world would be the sa?

But Hailey was different. She was about to be driven crazy by Ella Johnson.

At daylight, Ella kept ringing the doorbell repeatedly. Hailey didn’t answer for fear that the commotion would lead to discovery, which would then create trouble for herself with Atlas, since Ella was kicked out by Atlas.

"What exactly do you want? If you can’t reach Ava Walker by phone, what can I do? What can I possibly do?" Hailey wished this botherso woman would disappear imdiately. She already had enough on her mind; yesterday, Atlas didn’t pick up her call, nor did he return it, leaving her own issues unresolved, let alone Ava’s.

"You definitely can do sothing. Go to the Hallow Clan and see if you can find out if anything happened at the company in the last couple of days. Aren’t you on good terms with Atlas Hallow?" Ella’s face twisted with weariness, her all-night wakefulness leaving her voice coarse and hoarse.

"I’m not going. Atlas doesn’t like going to the Hallow Clan and even less will he tell what’s happening in his company." Hailey refused Ella’s unreasonable request. Atlas despised won ddling in his business affairs, sothing Hailey was fully aware of.

"Then I will go myself. If the young master asks where I’ve been staying lately, should I tell him I’m staying in his house?" Ella said darkly, suddenly realizing how clever Ava was, arranging for her to live here. Not only could Atlas not find her, but it could also make Atlas’s won help them with their affairs, truly killing multiple birds with one stone.

"Don’t go too far." Hailey turned pale with anger, feeling utterly flustered. If Atlas found out about this, she wouldn’t know how to explain it to him, and everything would fall apart. She’d lose even Atlas’s last shred of pity and remorse for her.

"I just want to know how my daughter is doing now; I don’t care about anything else." Ella said viciously. She was already cornered, and if the Hallow Family didn’t honor their word, she wouldn’t sit back and wait for death.

"Don’t run around. I’ll go." Seeing Ella’s appearance, Hailey knew she wasn’t joking and had no choice but to change her clothes and head to the Hallow Clan.
