Out the door, she pondered, this man was truly strange, seeming so gentle and well-mannered on the outside, yet probably one of those guys the young girls nowadays would say is a real beast in disguise. Otherwise, how could he be so terrifying? Seeing the scars all over her during their examination was truly shocking and appalling.
