[Nunax of the Seventy-Seven Moons' attack power decreases by 40%]

[…]

The guidance field churned.

Since Skullius had completed the conditions required to prompt the functions of the gifts he had received, they were triggered.

Nunax's attack power was diminished and a portion of her powers would be revealed to the future Hybrid.

[The Deity Nunax specialises in using the characteristics of her seventy-seven moons as weapons for offense and defense. Within this series of moons she utilises, is the Dreadful Violet Tirade, a moon with a special kind of light that traps its targets within dark dreams that slowly strip them of both reason and strength]

Skullius sighed.

'Just as I thought. This is aningless. The dampening of Nunax's power only works once, and this supposed helpful knowledge would only have been useful if Nunax didn't have such a wide array of abilities,' he thought.

The Deity's arms tensed and Skullius could see them get limned with malice in the form of powerful cords of muscle. She was still experiencing the thorough suppression by the Taming Appixel's chanisms.

But then…

One of the moons she had summoned suddenly burst with a midnight blue hue and shot into Nunax. The Deity reflected the sa colour of light before coming upon Skullius.

It happened in a manner of ti beyond the level the spectators could have dissected. To them, the tiled space shuddered, causing them to rise and fall on their backs, and then a sharp blue glow stung their eyes.

Red Rage, the only one without the need nor use for eyes, saw the aftermath.

The giant Deity was still wreathed in the blue hue, her features barely emphasized. Her outline was poised hostilely against the future Hybrid, her fist frozen a re inch from his face.

A layer of crusty ice coloured in purple-gold was growing on her halted arm. Additionally, one by one, great golden stitches kept appearing on that arm, nailing it to obscure space.

This was a combination of the Exotic Parlous Nature, Maximum Frost and the lding Stitches, both of which were prompted by Skullius' nimbus jacket. Anything that he considered malicious would be ensnared by both abilities on entering the effective range.

'She attacks quickly,' the Hybrid thought. 'I almost got caught in that attack. Fittingly, her attacks are leagues quicker than light.'

The Corrupted Deity groaned, her vague outline shuddering.

...But then one of the moons she had summoned shone with a scarlet-golden hue and poured a similarly-coloured light her way. Suddenly, the Deity's form abruptly tripled in size… as did her attack power.

And on top of that…

BOOOM!

A jet of scarlet-gold fla fired from Nunax, blasting the entire tiled plane. It kept flaring without end, its intensity growing by the micro-second.

Elita, Red Rage, Kenno and Aurolio hardly realised what had happened until they were engulfed by the fla. The protection cast on them from the beginning by Skullius didn't let an ounce of damage touch them though.

The scarlet-gold fire was an Exotic Parlous Nature, a Realm rank one. It marked everything it touched with a scarlet-gold hue and before incinerating them, it took on said target's properties.

Its power was atrocious indeed, especially to the actual target it was aid against.

Nunax expected to finish Skullius of with this attack and extract so of his powers, but…

'The darkness…devours all.'

The voice of the Warmoth ca, livid with a commanding presence.

Nunax shuddered.

Every lick of fla firing from her body, threatening to spill out of the tiled space into the Empyrean Bosom… was suddenly smothered by a deep darkness that took its ti to limn each and every flicker and spark of it.

Slowly, the scarlet-gold, turned black.

It beca an ominous, deep obsidian fla that expelled no heat and suffered no harm to anyone and anything it touched. It receded, drawing back to Nunax rapidly.

The Deity's face turned dark. She knew nothing good would co of her hijacked fla touching her. She vanished into the sky before all her amassed fla reached her previous position and condensed into a single, condensed black fla.

From above, the Deity pierced her opponent with a keen, wary look.

Skullius was also looking at her with a calm, solemn set of eyes.

He sighed.

Her was missing two arms. Smoke was billowing from the stumps. When Nunax had assud her massive form - bolstering her attack power - she had broken free of her bonds and landed a swift punch on him before expelling the scarlet-gold conflagration.

Skullius had barely managed to respond to the attack, and even when he t the great fist, his durability proved to be a little lacking. The 40% debuff had proven useless.

'She'll probably start taking seriously now,' thought Skullius and his two arms were restored in an instant. 'I should kick things up a notch too. I can't handle her physical abilities in my Default Body if I remain languid. If I match her with my Andori and Parlous Natures, I won't have much trouble.'

Elita and the rest gulped.

Even though they hadn't seen anything. They got the distinct impression that sothing impressive was happening.

Of course, that had to be the case.

Future Skullius had already proven that he could match a Deity's prowess with the Standard Unit system… sohow.

Elita still couldn't wrap her mind around it.

Unbeknownst to her though, she had been right.

Using the Andori, [Justified Maximum: Overload], Skullius prompted his Broader Existence to grow in power, and as it grew in power, everything tied to it was also elevated in strength – Andori, Exotic Parlous Natures, Immortal Physiques.

But there was a caveat to this trick. Skullius would not suddenly obtain the properties of a Deity, after all, the godhood offered by becoming a Deity was a qualitative change.

He would not inherit the precious qualitative change to his Amras only Deities had access to.

He would also not suddenly beco capable of marking worlds and forming Fated Reefs within his Broader Existence.

…But, in truth, even bolstering his prowess to the level of a Deity in general shouldn't have been possible because of his contract with AKHASHA.

Everyone who signed a contract with the Prival Deity could only grow their Broader Existence one way – through earning AKH units.

It was a breach of contract, as Elita had thought.

So… why was Skullius able to?

Well…

The future Hybrid smirked.

He had earned a third Class, sothing beyond the designation of Hidden. Even Prival Deities would find themselves hard-pressed in fathoming his new Class of power.

But Nunax did not care for this though.

Without clear details, she simply knew Skullius was a great threat.

Thus, indeed, as Skullius surmised, she began to take him seriously.

She showed it clearly by marking the tiled space, and expelling a Fated Reef over it.
