The raging winds were already dying down, the great cracks in the sky vanishing as though so divine artist was blending them with the canvas of Aigas. The clouds were starting to erge over the brightening horizon again, while fresh air allowed itself back into the world.
Aigas felt expansive and habitable, rich and ripe with potential for harboring more than just the demons who had been using it as a battleground. Other than an anomalous continent like Amanas – which was always shielded with the greatest defenses and obscured – only Edagon remained. Around it, small fragnts of islands, like crumbs, were beginning to form around it.
Suzate said, looking up with a relieved smile.
Luserus' voice sounded in her ear. He, too, was relieved, though. Overjoyed, even.
