Broadcasting Live From Inside An Eldritch Horror Game Chapter 25: To The Residence of Giants! Part-7

After various twists and turns, Zephyr finally managed to reach the Residence of Giants!

The massive fence that seed to be tall enough to pierce straight through the heavens was made up of wooden planks and logs.

It was damaged in various spots as if it had not been maintained for years. The fence was almost on the verge of falling apart; thus, it was easy for Zephyr to find a broken area in the massive fence and slip past it!

Bypassing the giant wooden fence, the first thing that appeared in Zephyr’s sight was a dilapidated hut that was so massive and tall that Zephyr could not even see its top properly, and it was wide enough to cover an entire city!

[Blue_Dinosaur: This place is massive! Just a single hut is this big and there must be more here!]

[Rolling_Crocodile: That giant corpse back there was missing its entire upper torso so we couldn’t see the proper height of the giant corpse... but after seeing this... I am speechless...]

[Invincible_Bob: Are we all gonna collectively ignore the fact that the anchor is actually a trained martial artist with enough strength to kill a monster in a single strike!?]

[Shining_Lorriane: Now that you ntion it... I almost ignored that for so reason... By the way, I think that governnt did a bit digging and they found out that the anchor, whose na is Zephyr Reid in real life, is actually just an ordinary chef with no history of combat training!]

[Jumping_Koala: Wtf!? That can’t be?! He seems like he’s skilled in martial arts and has proper combat training!]

[Invincible_Bob: I wonder if the horror ga gave him these abilities along with his inhumane physical strength because the difficulty he’s facing is simply too abysmal even when compared to the previous players?]

[Rolling_Crocodile: That’s actually quite possible. There was even a snake monster literally squatting at the anchor’s spawn point, ready to attack him right away. If the ga didn’t give him sothing, it would have been over in a second...]

[Shining_Lorraine: The anchor has been bombarded with laser beams, crushed by a tornado of flying piranha monsters, attacked by bizarre deford humanoid snail monsters that can fly and throw up acid, all this without food and water!]

[Rolling_Crocodile: Indeed, aside from that one bite he took from the snake at back then, the anchor hasn’t eaten or drank water for about two days now... He’s really in hell, difficulty without a doubt...]

[Invincible_Bob: Even that fellow who got stuck in the goblin cave at the start got to eat and drink until the goblins got fed up with him... ahem... What I an to say is that our all-powerful Tank God is really unlucky to not even have water to drink... sigh...]

[Rolling_Crocodile: Don’t worry, Anchor; I will drink tasty juice in your place once I get up from sleep. Consider it my tribute to you, God of Tanks! All hail the god of tanks!]

Zephyr tried his best to control himself from rolling his eyes in annoyance as he felt very heartbroken after learning that the viewers were talking about drinking juice leisurely while he was suffering here without a single drop of water.

Even that Karela juice (bitter gourd juice) that his parents forcefully fed him when he was young seed more appealing now that he was feeling thirsty.

Karela juice is extrely bitter but beneficial for health, and with the world in depression at an all-ti high due to the horror ga, many people drink it daily to improve health.

’Sigh... to think that there would co a day when I would start to think about drinking Karela Juice... life is really unpredictable...’

Zephyr wasn’t a picky eater, and as he himself was a decent chef, he knew how much effort went into cooking proper, edible als, so he preferred not to waste food most of the ti.

But there was obviously so stuff that he just couldn’t bring himself to eat, for example, the bottle gourd and its other variants that liked to spread terror in many middle-class households in his hotown.

’Ah, even that is starting to sound delicious to now that I am on an empty stomach...’

With Zephyr’s strong body, it was indeed possible to easily survive for many days without food and water, but the feeling of hunger and thirst would persist through the entire duration.

Thus, it was still a better idea to find food and water before ti runs out and he goes crazy from starvation and dehydration.

Unfortunately for him, though, even after crossing the fence and entering the backyard of the giant hut, Zephyr did not find anything edible or any source of water whatsoever!

The backyard was also an empty and barren wasteland with no plants or insects in sight.

The only difference here was that there was no ’Ash’ covering the ground here.

"D*mn... it feels like it’s been ages since I saw normal ground..."

The greyish-black ash-covered desert had almost driven Zephyr crazy with its sh*tty environnt and its heavy air pollution.

Only after entering the residence of the giants did Zephyr finally manage to distance himself from the layers of ash covering the entire area in the desert.

With a smile on his face, Zephyr bent down and took a handful of sand to assess the soil only to realize the soil felt very dry, but there were still so traces of moisture in it.

"There’s moisture in the soil... Which ans, there’s a water source sowhere nearby... Haha, that’s the greatest news I have got since the mont I ca to this world..."

Seeing Zephyr laugh like an idiot over a handful of wet soil, the people in the comnt box couldn’t help but shed tears of happiness for their poor anchor.

[Rolling_Crocodile: I have a feeling that getting this water will not be easy... or maybe the horror ga is just playing with our anchor’s heart and there’s no water in the first place... that would be too tragic...]

[Invincible_Bob: Don’t jinx him bruh!]

[Blue_Dinosaur: Genuinely speaking, the only thing I like about watching these live streams is the fact that I am not one struggling inside that horror world.]
