A complete Chaos Circuit materialized inside Mater’s body. All the blood vessels inside him had completely transford into a container for Chaos.
As it was the first ti the entire loop was connected, Chaos flooded out naturally and filled his blood.
All of the 5,000 kiloters of blood vessels were filled to the brim. All of his blood had turned into Chaos Blood.
The clouds around Onoke Swamp were pushed away, creating a cloud ring at the top of the sky. Mater’s black fur was covered in red light. He turned into a red shiny star that illuminated the entire darkness of the swamp.
All the creatures around the lake could feel the pressure exuding out from that tiny red star. Their hearts were pushed and their bodies shivered in fear.
Under the lake, a fish slowly erged from the water surface. Its black eyes gazed upon the tiny red star.
"Another?" It mumbled. Bubbles flew off from the water surface.
The red star was so bright that it even showed up on satellite. The DSI monitored Ines Sota closely. They imdiately noticed the red star in the Onoke Swamp.
Inside the Departnt of Supernatural Interference.
"Supervisor! Supervisor!" A man quickly ran through the hallway, holding a USB stick in his hand. He smacked on the tal steel door.
"What is it?" Malcom opened the door to his room. The tal slid over chanically.
"Supervisor Armstrong. There is activity in the Onoke Swamp." The man held up the USB stick.
"Give that to ."
Malcom took the USB stick and walked into his room. He slotted it in the wide keyboard attached to the wall. A screen appeared, showing live footage of the bright star in Onoke Swamp.
"What could it be, sir?" The man said.
Malcom crossed his arms. "There is a nace Level NCE in that place. It has been trying to beco a Hazard Level for a while. I guess it succeeded."
"What should we do now?"
"This thing is no longer solvable for Bronze Rank Hunter. Connect with the Atlas Seven. I’m personally giving a mission to them."
Nothing bothered Mater’s ascension throughout the process. The black cat landed on his feet.
"5,000 kiloters of vessels. 5,000 Rank 1 Chaos Point. Too little for my taste."
5,000 Chaos Point wasn’t that much. Humans were supposed to have 100,000 Chaos Points when they completed their Chaos Circuit. But Mater didn’t worry much. He lost the large Chaos Well but gained many other different things.
Mater connected to Crow briefly to check if there were any passersby.
"There is no one coming, Master. However, I did spot the wraith inside the Onoke Lake. It ca up to watch you." Crow said to Mater telepathically.
"That fish wraith, huh?" Mater grinned widely, his white teeth shined in the night.
He was a little bit worried that it might be too powerful for him to deal with at the mont. But the Red Keepers showed up just in ti.
According to all the records, there was no phenonon similar to what just happened with Mater in the past. Therefore, the wraith did not reach the highest level of rank 1 yet.
Mater was higher than it in level and he for sure was not weaker.
"Ignore it. Let’s return to the motel."
He had plenty of Chaos Points at the mont but he still had three other spell slots which he could inscribe. He also had a lot of spared Chaos Stones, 22 of them in total, which should also be enough to summon one or even two Servants for his Submission Seal.
Mater climbed onto Crow’s back and flew back to the motel. He didn’t sleep that night. Instead, he prepared the Dark Grimoire for the remaining spells.
Currently, the Dark Grimoire had the following pages.
Page 1: Chains of Shadow
Page 2: Desperation Scream
Page 3: Page of Imprisonnt
Page 4: Chaos Eyes
Page 5: Aurora (Servant)
Page 6: Nether Shot
Page 7: Crow’s Call
Page 8: Water Clones
Page 9: Minor Distortion

Mater had four controlling spells: Chains of Shadow, Page of Imprisonnt, Crow’s Call and Blinding Void.
Mater had two damaging spells: Desperation Scream and Nether Shot.
Mater had one defensive spell: Force Do.
Mater had three utility spells: Chaos Eyes, Water Clones and Minor Distortion.
"My damaging spells are a little bit limited, huh... Desperation Scream can be used close-range while Nether Shot is for long-range. I really do not have a lot of variety in my attack. Since that is the case, let’s change that."
Nether Shot used Nether Energy of the hell of darkness. Naturally, he also had two other Rank 1 Spells that used Hellfire and Death Ice.
There were two Rank 1 Hellfire spells. Hellfire Chain and Hellfire Pit.
Hellfire Chain manifests a chain made out of pure Hellfire that whips at an enemy. The only issue with this spell was that Mater was a cat. The damage of the spell might be lower because he couldn’t swing it that well.
Hellfire Pit was simpler. He could summon a circle of Hellfire at the feet of the enemies and cause them to be burned by it.
"As much as I like Hellfire Chain. I have to pick Hellfire Pit."
There were three Rank 1 Death Ice spells. Death Ice was the most versatile energy in Rank 1. The three spells were Glacial Depression, Glacial Touch, and Glacial Imbuent.
Glacial Depression had the least amount of instant damage between the three. It would create a space of low-temperature and damage everything inside that wasn’t immune to Death Ice. This spell could combo with Aurora and make her even stronger. But she could already lower the temperature by herself with Glacial Elk.
Glacial Touch. This was a very close-range spell as it required the user to co into direct contact with an enemy. Glacial Touch would send all the power of the Death Ice into the enemy in one simple touch. It had the most damage but also the least range of all.
Glacial Imbuent was a unique one. This spell required the user to touch any weapon, granting it the devastating ability of the Death Ice.
Mater looked over to the revolver Selina placed on the bed counter.
"I wonder..."
