Coco Edwards couldn’t help but laugh even harder at the sight of Jane Sampson’s "baby’s got a hidden sorrow but won’t say it" expression. Her eyes were practically shining with mirth.
"No worries, little Jane. Stay strong! You’re the one who said on Twitter to be strong," Coco consoled Jane flippantly, then turned back to scroll through the comnts underneath Jane’s Twitter posts.
Not content with just reading, Coco had to voice every ssage that could potentially knock Jane down. Throughout the journey, Jane couldn’t escape Coco’s tornt, even if she pretended to sleep.
Three hours later, as soon as the car stopped in front of the small inn where they were staying, Jane fled out of the car like her life depended on it, dragging her luggage and running ahead.
After enduring Coco’s tornting for three straight hours, Jane felt like she was going insane.
What infuriated her was that Jas Chip joined in the teasing all the way, and upon seeing how fast Jane ran, he shouted from behind her, "Monkey King of Sampton, why so fast? Are you afraid there won’t be a room for you?"
Jane nearly stumbled into a ditch and turned around with a mournful look to gaze at Jas Chip.
"Director, you’re going to lose ’I the Princess’ like this." Jane stood still, sighed, and looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle.
She had no idea how long this nickna would stick with her.
Since they had been on the road all day today, Jas Chip decided not to schedule any work for everyone the next day, allowing them a day of rest to adjust to the local climate and air.
Cloud Province was a city known for its high rate of landscaping. Even in the cooler weather, the tourism zone offered a wealth of lush greenery as far as the eye could see.
Behind the hotel lay an extensive and extraordinarily beautiful maple forest.
The next day, almost the entire film crew was strolling through the maple forest. Jane was repeatedly regretful that she hadn’t brought her cara with her on this trip.
As for Coco, she stood next to Jane and fild one video after another. Jane figured she must have flooded everyone’s Monts feed.
"Sister Jane, your mobile phone is ringing," Coco notified Jane, who was squatting on the ground, thoroughly engrossed in watching ants move their nest.
In this day and age, it seed only Jane and the children in the crew had the interest to squat on ground level and watch ants work on such a small thing, to the point she was so fascinated that she didn’t even notice her phone ringing.
"Oh." Jane finally realized and began searching clumsily through the pockets on both sides of her coat for her mobile phone. The weather here was cold, so she wore gloves, and even the simple act of picking up her phone was as awkward as a child’s.
"What kind of gloves did Jas Black get prepared? They don’t even fit in my pocket." The more Jane hurried, the more her hand got stuck in her pocket. As the phone continued to ring, her anxiety grew, and she began to mutter about Jas Black.
"You’re only daring to grumble about him because he can’t hear you right now," Coco teased Jane, moving to help her, but Jane had already managed to pull her hand out and took off the gloves to retrieve her phone.
Looking at the caller ID, Jane herself burst into laughter before answering the call.
"It’s him," she said, and quickly pressed the answer button. Before Jas Black could speak, she unleashed a rapid-fire tirade, "It’s all your fault! What kind of gloves did you get for ? They made my hands look like pork knuckles. Trying to get my phone, my hand got stuck at the pocket entrance, and I couldn’t get it out for half a day. I was so worried."
