"I don’t understand—maybe Andrew Chip threatened her with his obligation from raising her," was what Peter Gingery thought, "After all, Andrew Chip and his wife had raised Julie Sampson."
"Raised her?" Jas Black let out a cold laugh, "Julie Sampson is not a particularly kind person. The Chip Family mistreated her; being able to leave the Chip Family and return to the Sampton Family, Julie Sampson didn’t know how happy she was. So, in Julie Sampson’s heart, there is only hatred for the Chip Family, no love, and certainly no gratitude."
Seeing Peter Gingery still seed unsure, Jas Black unfastened the top button of his shirt to take a breath and continued, "Just as she resented your sister-in-law for occupying the position in the Sampton Family that should have been hers, she too resented Andrew Chip and his wife, thinking if it hadn’t been for the two of them taking her away, she might have grown up in the Sampton Family and wouldn’t have had such a hard childhood."
Thus, Jas Black was sure that soone as selfish as Julie Sampson couldn’t possibly have a grateful heart.
Andrew Chip and his wife had not taught her gratitude, and the Sampton Family hadn’t either.
Therefore, it seed illogical to Jas Black that Julie Sampson would give money to Andrew Chip and his wife.
"Could it be because of her reputation? Could it be that Julie Sampson is afraid Andrew Chip might ruin her reputation?" Peter Gingery suggested.
"She’s been resigned from the radio station for several months now. She now holds an idle position within the Sampton Family’s company. Right now, her reputation is not sothing that can threaten her," after all, Julie Sampson was no longer climbing the social ladder through fa, so Jas Black thought for a mont, then turned to Peter Gingery.
"Have soone keep an eye on Julie Sampson and find two others to watch Andrew Chip’s family," Jas Black ordered.
"Okay," Peter Gingery nodded in agreent. Although he felt this matter was irrelevant to him and Jas Black and saw no need to get involved, since Jas Black had requested it, Peter Gingery didn’t argue and simply agreed.
With Jane Sampson not at ho, Jas Black had Peter Gingery escort him back to the guard team.
