The girl rely hooked the corner of her lips and didn’t answer the question.
Sister Shaw glanced at the girl and continued, "The first ti I saw Jane Sampson on TV, I imdiately took a liking to this little miss. She’s bright, straightforward, but not weak, especially after seeing her on ’I’m Not a Celebrity’, I really thought they were a perfect match. Jas Black, he needs such an independent and adorable girl to accompany him for life."
"Is that so?" the girl turned around and gave a noncommittal response.
"Yes," Sister Shaw replied with certainty, "She and Jas Black are suitable for each other, and he loves her very much."
The girl smiled gently, then suddenly stood up and said, "I’ve run into soone I know; I need to go down to say hello. Sister Shaw, please wait here for ; I’ll be back in a while."
Sister Shaw got up, trying to call the girl back, but the girl had already pushed the door and gone out.
Sister Shaw frowned slightly and stood at the window looking down. It wasn’t long before she saw the yellow figure walking towards Mr. and Mrs. Black.
"Hello, Mr. Black, long ti no see."
The girl stood directly in front of Jas Black and Jane Sampson, extending her right hand to Jas Black.
Hearing his surna called, Jas Black looked up at the girl’s face, searched his mind once, and had no impression; he didn’t rember having seen this person. So he didn’t stretch out his hand and was even sowhat displeased, not happy that a stranger suddenly interrupted his alone ti with Jane Sampson.
"Looks like Mr. Black doesn’t rember , huh?" The girl wasn’t at all embarrassed and slowly withdrew her hand, "My na is Jillian Carter; three years ago, Mr. Black, you saved my life in City L. Do you rember now?"
Jane Sampson curiously looked at the girl. As a woman, she imdiately recognized that the girl’s attire was all of exquisite quality. Jane Sampson turned her head to look at Jas Black, hoping to read his answer from his face.
But at this ti, Jas Black seed like the one Jane Sampson had known a long ti ago. His face never let anyone perceive anything.
Jas Black seed to think for a mont before speaking in a light tone, "I’ve helped so many people; I can’t count all of them."
The implication was that he still didn’t rember.
The girl then beca a bit flustered, stamped her foot cutely and said in a coquettish voice, "Hey! I’m the reporter who covered the serial murder case in City L! That ti I was following the murderer, wasn’t I discovered by him? Mr. Black, you saved in the nick of ti."
Jas Black’s expression remained unchanged; he just humd in acknowledgnt.
"Do you finally rember?" The girl smiled with relief, "You left after taking to the hospital, and I never got the chance to thank you. Over the years, I’ve been trying to find you, but after nearly three years, I never succeeded. I didn’t expect to see you by chance today. Don’t you think it’s fate?"
The girl didn’t wait for Jas Black to respond and added, "Three years, happy to see my lifesaver again."
Jane Sampson sat silently by Jas Black’s side, listening. Seeing that it didn’t seem to involve her, she sipped the iced cola she had just managed to coax from him.
Even this small gesture did not escape Jas Black’s notice.
He reached over and snatched the bottle from her hand, "One second without watching you, and you can finish a whole bottle in one second."
