"Why has your younger brother suddenly shown up?" Sister Shaw casually asked.
"My sister has been sick for over half a month now, I couldn’t rest easy, so I specifically brought dicine from Capital Province for her," Bright Sampton explained.
"Sick for half a month? Is she feeling any better? Why didn’t you ntion a word to ?" Sister Shaw turned to look at Jane Sampson, "No wonder you looked much thinner when you first ca up, have you lost about five or six catties since I last saw you?"
"More than that, Sister Jane lost ten catties in half a month due to her illness. She was already slim, and now she’s so thin I can hardly bear to look. Others apply makeup to slim their faces, she applies makeup to make her face look fuller. Luckily, the script she’s filming right now involves her character being in a bit of a disheveled state, otherwise, the director would have been cursing," Lucy Brisk complained, "Sister Jane is exceptionally dedicated to her work. Without Sister Coco here, I can’t even manage her."
"That won’t do, work is important, but health is more important," Sister Shaw, being older, chided Jane Sampson.
The two hotels were very close, and in the ti it took for their conversation, the car had arrived.
Sister Shaw’s car didn’t park in the hotel’s parking lot, instead, she drove straight into the staff’s internal parking area and then went directly to the staff’s internal office area exclusive elevator entrance to wait for the elevator.
Sister Shaw made a call to her friends at the elevator entrance to let them know they had arrived downstairs, they couldn’t get in without an elevator card, so they needed Sister Shaw’s friends to co down and fetch them.
Four people were standing waiting at the elevator entrance when the elevator door suddenly opened. Two n walked out one after another; the one in front was wearing a black suit, and the one behind wore a lighter-colored suit that made him look like an assistant of so sort.
Seeing soone coming out, Jane Sampson and her group quickly stepped aside to give room at the elevator entrance.
The two n glanced at the four and walked straight ahead, then, a few seconds later.
The man in the black suit looked back twice, his gaze falling on Jane Sampson’s face; he paused, and instinctively asked, "Are you Jane Sampson?"
Jane Sampson was imdiately stunned when she heard this.
She was disguised so well and still recognized?
She was wearing a baseball cap, large frog-eye glasses, and a mask.
Since she was already recognized, Jane Sampson didn’t continue to hide. She took off her sunglasses and mask and greeted the man who recognized her, "Hello, I rember seeing you in President Brownstone’s office."
"Um, I’m a friend of Oliver Brownstone." The man turned and walked back towards Jane Sampson, extending his hand, "Nice to et you, my na is Rachel Miller, and I’m currently the General Manager of Crystal Elent Group."
"Hello." Although Jane Sampson didn’t know why the other party suddenly ca back to introduce himself, she still politely shook hands with Rachel Miller.
"Are you here because of that issue on the internet?" Rachel Miller asked, and without waiting for Jane Sampson to finish, he glanced at his watch then turned to his companion and said, "I’m going to head back to my office for a mont, the issue we talked about just now, please pass on the ssage, and for the rest, wait for my notification."
"Of course, President Miller." The assistant nodded, smiled at Jane Sampson and the others, then left first.
Rachel Miller then made a welcoming gesture, "Co on, let’s deal with your issue in my office, I’ll have the hotel staff cooperate with you."
At this ti, Sister Shaw’s friend had just co down from the elevator and on seeing Rachel Miller there, was truly startled, and quickly said, "President Miller!"
anwhile, Jane Sampson was looking shocked, and Bright Sampton was giving Rachel Miller a wary look. He then whispered to Jane Sampson, "Why is this man so enthusiastic about you? He guessed you are here about that internet issue just by seeing us here, does he keep a close eye on you?"
Otherwise, why would a General Manager of such a large group know everything about an online issue that had just happened this morning?
