Old Master Black coughed and kicked Jane Sampson under the table.
Waiting for Jane’s languid, deeply conflicted gaze to et his, Old Master Black knew the act couldn’t possibly go on.
Sure enough, a few seconds later, Old Master Black heard Jane’s voice, very earnestly asking him,
"Grandfather, do you want so?"
Old Master Black held his forehead, then helplessly shook his head.
No saving this, no saving this.
This guy Jas was destined to be eaten alive.
Not only was the act called off, but Jane, finding new kinship, even offered to peel shrimp.
"Just out of the oven, be careful, it’s a bit hot while peeling."
Then during this lunch, Old Master Black watched as Jane was joyfully fed by Jas, who didn’t even eat himself but peeled an entire portion of crayfish and personally delivered it to his wife’s mouth, earning him countless happy smiles all afternoon.
After finishing the last crayfish, Jas also served Jane a bowl of soup and told her to sit and slowly drink it while they had lunch together.
Old Master Black watched the obediently nodding Jane with a shake of his head as if mourning a lost cause, then left with Great General to walk off the al.
Once Old Master Black had left, Jas freely studied Jane’s expression, noticing her happiness, he proposed, "How about a shopping trip after a lunch break?"
"Sure," Jane replied without hesitation. "I do need so new clothes."
"Good." Jas looked at the shrimp shells on the table before asking another question, "What do you think of the taste here?"
"The flavor is good, but the side dishes were too much. With such a large pot, if you really counted, there weren’t even half a pound of crayfish," Jane sighed with slight disappointnt.
Jas smiled, almost imperceptibly, wishing he could have convinced the boss to serve only five crayfish—if it weren’t for the fear of being too obvious and not catching Jane’s interest.
These things aren’t good in excess, so Jas didn’t like Jane indulging in them, especially since she already had a sensitive stomach.
After the break, Jas took fully equipped Jane out in the car to the shopping mall. In winter, with a scarf wrapped around, and wearing a hat and mask, she stood out wherever she went, so Jane quite liked going out shopping in winter.
Unbeknownst to her, though, engrossed with Jas, a tweet about her exploded anew.
A very noticeable hashtag #JaneSampsonRealBoyfriendExposed# suddenly topped the hot topics list.
Once the studio noticed the ssages, they imdiately reported it to Rock Bell. Rock Bell rolled his eyes ungraciously when he clicked into the topic on Twitter.
Initially, he thought Jas had been discovered, but it turned out that this so-called real boyfriend was Peter Gingery.
Rock Bell knew about Peter Gingery accompanying Jane in King Town, so the images on Twitter were of Peter with Jane sneaking around.
There were plenty of paparazzi shots and videos, showing Jane and Peter larking about, entering a hotel and even the sa room after filming, and also capturing Peter on the filming set with Jane.
However, probably worried about being found out, they were all long-distance sneaky shots, and done with mobile phones, not clear enough to make out Peter’s face.
