Jas Carter didn’t deny it, lightly curling the corner of his mouth, smiling a faint smile.
Then, as if talking to himself, he said, "Yes, soone who’s been through it."
The three words, "soone who’s been through it," also implied past events.
Jane Sampson noticed sothing off about Jas Carter’s expression and didn’t bring it up again. After thinking for a mont, with a cunning smile on her face, she opened her mobile phone and sent Jas Black a WhatsAPP ssage.
King Black! King Black! [Cute][Cute][Cute]—Jas Black’s Mrs. Black.
Jas Black, in the study, heard the new WhatsAPP ssage notification and shifted his attention away from the book in his hand. He has only Jane Sampson as a friend on WhatsAPP, so he had set a notification for new ssages from her, allowing him to know imdiately whenever she sent him one.
He opened WhatsAPP and at first glance saw the six words from Jane Sampson that could be described as rebelliously naughty, followed by three endearing expressions. Jas Black didn’t know whether to laugh or to symbolically show a bit of anger.
Three days without a beating leads to fixing the roof? —Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black.
Jane, inside the car, saw Jas’s reply and instantly chickened out. She glanced outside the window with a guilty conscience for a few seconds, but then couldn’t resist the urge to be mischievous. Gathering courage, she quickly typed a few words and sent them over.
Not letting wear that pink dress out, is it because I look too beautiful in it, and you’re worried others will stare, getting jealous, huh? [Smile][Smile][Smile]—Jas Black’s Mrs. Black.
After sending the ssage, Jane sat next to Jas Carter, hugging her mobile phone and snickering to herself. But her snickering was too conspicuous for Jas Carter not to notice.
"What’s making you so happy?" Jas Carter asked out of curiosity.
"I think I’ve pissed soone off again, but, my heart just feels so darn cheerful." Jane exposed her pearly white teeth in a grin.
Jas Carter, having Jane in his WhatsAPP contacts and having seen her Monts, would know that the ’soone’ she ntioned was most likely her husband, Jas Black.
"Mr. Black looks to be a man of great tolerance; it’s quite unlikely he would get angry with his own wife," said Jas Carter, his voice laced with laughter.
"Then you’ve misunderstood him; he’s often displeased, with a cold expression. Just you watch, I’ll imitate it for you," Jane cleared her throat and accurately mimicked Jas Black’s tone, "Jane Sampson, we et once every three months, this is an order, not a negotiation."
"You’re forbidden from sneaking ice cream, from eating spicy strips, from eating potato chips, otherwise, you’ll suffer the consequences."
"Jane Sampson, you really are a handful!"
"Jane Sampson, do you never learn?"
After finishing her imitation, Jane herself laughed so hard while holding her belly, "He’s mostly like this."
"Your way of interacting as husband and wife is quite different from that of most couples," Jas Carter remarked with amusent. It might be why, after several years of marriage, Jane and Jas still seem as affectionate as young lovers.
Listening, Jas Carter could also tell that although Jane seed like she was complaining about her husband, the way she imitated each sentence, every word, her tone was filled with the coquettishness of a dainty woman—a testant to her happiness.
"Not the sa, totally different. My relationship with him, with a regular husband and wife, is completely different," Jane shook her head and responded mysteriously.
When she married Jas Black, he and she, one could say, slept in the sa bed with different dreams, with mutual respect for each other.
