Jane Sampson’s body stilled slightly, and after being quiet for a few seconds, she slowly raised her head to look at Jas Black and let out a soft hum.
Breakfast was brought ho by Jas Black from the community entrance during his morning run, and Jane Sampson saw that breakfast was ready when she ca out of the bedroom after washing up.
He had brought back the peanut soup that Jane Sampson loved, along with a few buns and two tea eggs.
Jane Sampson giggled and sat beside the dining table, watching Jas Black ladle the soup for her. After receiving it, she first took a sip before saying thank you.
"It’s been so ti since I’ve had this peanut soup, and it’s just as delicious as ever," Jane Sampson remarked. "But the guard team’s breakfast is also tasty."
"If you really like it, you could just co to the guard team and find when you have free ti," Jas Black added.
Jane Sampson glanced at Jas Black and gave a faint smile but didn’t say whether she would go or not. Instead, she pointed at the two tea eggs in front of Jas Black and said to him, "Jas Black, hand one of the tea eggs."
After finishing her sentence, Jane Sampson lowered her head again to sip her peanut soup, but after waiting a few seconds without any action from Jas Black, she looked up at him again, puzzled, to find him frowning and looking displeased at her.
"Do you have senile dentia?" he asked Jane Sampson in a displeased tone.
"No~" Jane Sampson looked confused, "If you won’t hand it over, just say so. Why are you scolding ?"
Annoyed, Jane Sampson huffed, stood up, and stretched out her hand to grab one herself, not expecting Jas Black to move faster, snatching both tea eggs away.
"What are you doing? Give one!" Jane Sampson watched Jas Black with frustration. "What’s with your temper, changing like the weather forecast? Now it’s windy, now it’s rainy?"
His mood changed in the blink of an eye.
Why all this anger so early in the morning?
Didn’t they just have a romp last night? Otherwise, where did those hickeys she just saw on her body in the mirror co from?
Could it be dissatisfaction?
But that doesn’t seem right either; she felt like they were quite harmonious together last night.
After talking about Jas Black, Jane Sampson sat back down and glared at him.
But Jas Black acted as if he hadn’t heard a thing, not even lifting his eyelids while peeling one of the tea eggs. After Jas Black finished peeling it, Jane Sampson saw him break the egg in half, revealing an intact egg yolk, to which she naturally extended her soup scoop.
"Give the egg yolk."
However, Jas Black sitting across from her scoffed and, under Jane Sampson’s gaze, slowly moved to place the egg yolk into his own mouth.

"Husband! I want the egg yolk!" Jane quickly spoke up.
No joking around now; if she kept it up, there would be no egg yolk left.
"It seems you’ve rembered," Jas Black chuckled and finally placed the long-stared-at egg yolk onto her soup scoop.
Jane Sampson quickly retracted her hand and bit into the egg yolk.
A stream of thoughts ran through her mind.
So, the matter of pet nas was not just sothing she woke up thinking was a dream.
Did she indeed discuss these pet na issues with Jas Black after drinking too much last night?
Terms like "treasure" and "husband," when called out sober, are really full of embarrassnt.
Jane Sampson believes Jas Black feels the sa, otherwise, he wouldn’t have refrained from calling her by her na since this morning.
He knows how embarrassing it is to utter these terms, yet he still makes it hard for her!
Jane Sampson thought to herself sweetly as she sipped her soup: indeed, drinking causes troubles.
