After breakfast, Jas Black went to the guard team, but before leaving, he insisted on pulling Jane Sampson downstairs with him and then kissed her for a long while inside the car before driving off.
When Jane Sampson returned ho, her lips were sowhat red and swollen. She spent a long ti putting on makeup in front of the mirror before she left just to cover it up.
Jane soon drove herself to the hospital to visit Coco Edwards. Resting for another two days, Jane’s schedule would start to get busy, so she took the opportunity while she still had ti to make another trip to the hospital and also brought along the keys to the apartnt for Coco.
However, Jane was surprised to find that Coco’s hospital ward was not only occupied by Coco herself but also by Coco’s family.
A whole group of them, not a single one less.
"Sister Jane," Harry Little Money was the first to call out to Jane as she walked in, then with an imperceptible change in his expression explained the situation in the ward, "Sister Coco’s family ca to visit the day before yesterday, and these past two days they have been taking turns looking after her."
Harry saw the shock in Jane’s eyes, but that sa emotion was present in his own eyes too, and even Coco herself had felt the sa the day before yesterday.
"Oh, Coco, this must be your current boss, right?" Mother Edwards quickly ca out upon seeing Jane enter and without waiting for Jane to say anything, she reached out to take the stuff from Jane’s hand and said with a smile, "The boss is here, why bring all these things?"
"Wow, this is cubilose, must be quite expensive, huh? Can’t understand the letters on the packaging, are these imported goods?" A young woman in her thirties suddenly spoke from the side.
"Enough, look at you acting like soone who’s never seen the world, it’s embarrassing." Mother Edwards slapped away her daughter-in-law’s hand that was reaching out to touch and turned to her son, saying, "Control your wife, don’t let her embarrass your sister in front of her boss."
Coco’s elder brother stared intently at the girl who had just entered, paying no heed to what his mother was saying.
After Jane Sampson had walked in, Coco’s elder brother imdiately went to her, his excitent apparent, "A star, really a star! Hey, big star, can I take a photo with you?"
"I’m sorry, but no. This is my ti to visit my friend, not my work ti," Jane replied with a faint smile, declining his request, and then she walked past Coco’s elder brother directly toward Coco.
"Why are you here again? Didn’t I tell you to rest well at ho if you have the ti? You’ll be busy again in a few days," Coco said, no longer interested in discussing her family.
They had nearly reached the point of cutting ties, but sohow, a pang of conscience hit, and her family suddenly showed up at the hospital the day before yesterday saying they wanted to take care of her.
Coco was shocked, but didn’t say anything. She watched as they cleared out all the nutrition products from her ward without even bothering to utter a word.
"I just ca to see you, will sit for a bit and then head back to the company," Jane Sampson said, sitting on the edge of the bed next to Coco, then silently mouthed to Coco, "I’ve brought the keys for you~"
Coco understood and gently shook her head at Jane.
Jane got the ssage, curved the corner of her mouth slightly, and then made a sound of affirmation and brought up the subject no longer.
"Take care. Since your family is here, I’ll be going first. Call anyti if you need anything," Jane Sampson patted Coco’s shoulder gently to comfort her, then gave a look to Harry Little Money, who understood and said he would see Jane out.
