Jane Sampson shivered at the thought of Jas Black, that old stubborn tree, running his jealousy factory. Last ti at the guard team, Mair Williams had really set her up. Jas Black’s reaction—Jane would never forget it for the rest of her life.
If Jas Black misunderstood her again, maybe her only way out would be running away from ho, right?
Otherwise, she, this fish, might just get squeezed into salted fish jerky by Jas Black.
Jane hurriedly tugged Quincy Forest over and said, "Jasmine, quickly explain to Jas Black—it’s you who wanted to watch this, right? I didn’t even watch, did I?"
Quincy, who was watching with great interest, heard Jane talking to her, but the music was too loud, so she didn’t catch what Jane said at all.
On top of that, she’d been sneakily eavesdropping on the conversation of the girls in front earlier out of curiosity, completely unaware that Jane was video-calling Jas Black. She quietly leaned over to Jane and asked, "Little Jane, in your opinion, out of those on stage, whose... is the biggest?"
!!!!
Jane was dumbfounded.
She’d seen people who could ss things up, but none as good at it as Mair Williams!
Quincy Forest, well done, truly splendid.
Jane pushed Quincy away imdiately, her face turning beet red as she desperately tried to survive. "I have no idea! Because I haven’t even glanced at the stage once!"
Quincy laughed gleefully from next to her, tearing her cover apart. "You’re not blind, how could you not have seen it?"
!!!
Jane looked at Jas Black’s face in the video, steadily growing darker, and her heart sank.
It’s over. Soone wasn’t happy now.
But she was innocent, too.
She was just browsing a shopping mall, and now they’d made her watch such a scandalous performance—it wasn’t her choice!
Jane felt like her face was about to cramp from embarrassnt. "What if I said that I was actually blind just now—would anyone believe ?"
"Heh." Jas Black let out a cold chuckle, one that wasn’t quite a laugh.
Now it got awkward. Jane raised her hand to scratch her head, trying to salvage the situation. "It’s way too noisy here. I’ll video call you again when I get ho, okay? I’m leaving right away—you see, I’m dragging Quincy along too!"
With that, Jane transford into a strongman and literally dragged the still-reluctant Quincy away.
But because there were so many people around, while Jane was holding the mobile phone in one hand to keep video-calling Jas Black and pulling Quincy with the other hand to leave, soone bumped into her. Her finger accidentally tapped the hang-up button, abruptly ending the video call.
Jane stared at the mobile phone screen in a daze, thinking—could her ability to pour gasoline on the fire be any more impressive?
Would Jas Black think she hung up on purpose?
Just as Jane was about to call Jas Black back, a girl suddenly walked toward her from behind, her face glowing with excitent.
"Little Jane! You’re Little Jane, right? Oh my God, I can’t believe I bumped into the Monkey King of Sampton here! Oh my God, I’m too thrilled!" The girl hopped up and down in front of Jane. "This must be Little Princess Jasmine Seven, right? I saw your Twitter post tonight. You guys had dinner around here, didn’t you? I didn’t expect to run into you at the shopping mall!"
Jane noticed the girl was holding a mobile phone, which seed to be recording a live stream, so she asked to confirm, "Are you live-streaming now?"
"Yes, I’m the host." The girl nodded and glanced at her phone, then said to Jane, "Little Jane, the fans are asking if they can say hi to you—is that okay? We all love you so much!"
At this point, Jane couldn’t think of any reason to refuse, so she nodded in agreent.
The girl was overjoyed and imdiately handed one of the vanilla ice cream milk teas she was holding to Jane. "I just bought this—I haven’t tried it yet. It’s for you. I don’t know if you’d like this flavor or not."
