"Nope." Jane Sampson shook her head. "Wipe that starving wolf expression off your face. You look like you’re about to pounce."
"Was I that obvious?" Quincy Forest quickly swapped out her expression, even reaching out to knead her own face, then turned to look at the people nearby, noticing that none of the other girls were acting much more reserved than she had just now.
So were even more thrilled, speculating with their friends about which... um, was bigger?
"Let’s go~ Let’s go~" Jane Sampson stole another glance at the stage, and her face turned redder by the second. She reached out to pull Quincy Forest away.
"It’s fate to bump into this; let’s stay a bit longer." Quincy Forest grabbed Jane Sampson, refusing to let her leave, insisting she stay and keep watching with her.
Jane Sampson had no choice but to silently turn her back on the stage, her face still bright red.
At that mont, she suddenly heard her mobile phone ringing in her purse. Jane Sampson fumbled to take it out, saw that Jas Black was calling her on a WhatsApp video call, and answered it without much thought.
Her mind wasn’t on her actual location anymore; it had flown straight to the phone—or rather, to Jas Black himself.
As soon as the call connected, Jane Sampson opened the video and blinked at Jas Black through the screen, calling out his na, "Jas."
Jas Black glanced at the person in the video and noticed she was wearing a mask. It was noisy over there, so he asked, "Where are you?"
"I’m out shopping with Quincy Forest." Jane Sampson held up the phone and spun it around to show Jas Black her surroundings. "The mall is so lively today."
Jas Black had seen Jane Sampson’s earlier Twitter post and knew she’d gone out with Quincy Forest for lunch, apparently with Kane Forest picking up the tab. So, it wasn’t out of the ordinary for her and Quincy to be wandering around the mall after eating.
Jas Black didn’t pay much attention to the environnt Jane Sampson was showing him. Without seeing her face clearly, he was about to ask her to stop spinning the phone around—he wanted to see her.
But just as the words were about to leave his lips, the video feed abruptly showed the stage behind Jane Sampson.
And there Jas Black saw several tall n, clad in nothing but underpants, strutting on the stage. Many of the male models were foreigners.
The phone’s resolution was crystal-clear, and Jane Sampson’s angle was unfortunately perfect. When the phone jolted slightly, Jas Black got a flawless view of the area from these male models’ abs down to above their lower legs. And one particular spot stood out even more prominently.
"Jane Sampson!" Jas Black gritted his teeth. "You’re not allowed to look!"
But it was noisy over there, and Jane Sampson couldn’t quite hear what Jas Black was saying. So, she responded with a couple of confused "Huh?" noises and asked, "What did you say? It’s too loud; I couldn’t hear just now."
This ti, Jas Black practically shouted, "You’re not allowed to look!"
Now Jane Sampson understood.
"Not allowed to look? Not allowed to look at what?" Jane Sampson asked in confusion, instinctively starting to turn around.
"Don’t turn around!" Jas Black growled.
Jane Sampson blinked at the furious man on the screen, puzzled at why Jas Black was suddenly upset. Then, all at once, she realized—and finally understood what Jas Black ant by "not allowed to look."
Midway through turning her neck, she stiffly swung it back into place.
Her palm-sized face instantly flushed crimson like a rose.
"I didn’t look! I didn’t look!" Jane Sampson shook her head violently, like a spinning rattle drum. "I swear I didn’t look! It’s Quincy who wanted to watch! I was just dragging her to leave earlier, but Quincy wouldn’t budge. If you don’t believe , ask Quincy."
