"A total of three tis, each ti 20,000, adding up to 60,000. The timing of the last 20,000 was in the morning of the next day after I sent her the work schedule, which is less than half an hour after Harrington Entertainnt confird your work with the TV station," Rock Bell said. "We looked into the person who transferred 60,000 to Lucy Brisk over three tis and found out this person is a new employee in the accounting departnt of Harrington Entertainnt and happens to be a high school classmate of Lucy. Moreover, the person used a private account for the transfer, so they were well-prepared."
Using a private account by a new employee who also knows Lucy serves the purpose that, even if discovered, this bank account cannot be used as legal evidence.
The person could simply say this is a financial transaction between two employees and old classmates, a personal act having nothing to do with the company to avoid responsibility.
They could even claim it was loan repaynt to justify these three transactions.
"Lucy..." Jane Sampson sat there, softly repeating Lucy’s na, only then vaguely recalling that after the year, Lucy seed to have subtly probed about her work with her.
At that ti, Jane Sampson only thought Lucy, as an assistant, was concerned about her schedule. But now, with the incident breaking out, thinking back, she felt the tone Lucy used was sowhat cautious and probing.
This doesn’t seem like a normal concern would appear.
It’s clear she had a guilty conscience, which is why she used such a tone.
Rock Bell shook his head, sighed, pressed the intercom, and said to his secretary, "Ask Lucy to co to my office for a mont."
After hanging up the phone, Rock Bell said, "I’ll bring her in. Think about how you want to handle it. Consider reporting to the police. If you really report it, this lawsuit can be fought, two young people, experienced lawyers can handle it."
"Let’s wait till Lucy cos in," Jane Sampson said.
Rock Bell nodded and also sat back down. The information on the table, he didn’t even bother to tidy up, just spread it out open there.
Lucy ca quickly and upon entering the door, seeing Jane Sampson was also there, she smiled and greeted Jane Sampson.
"Sister Jane, you’re here too, when did you co to the company?" Lucy walked over and stopped beside Jane Sampson.
Jane Sampson looked up at Lucy’s expression, then lowered her eyes without speaking.
Seeing Lucy’s nonchalant smiling face, Jane Sampson found it glaring.
"Lucy, guess what I called you over for," Rock Bell said as he pointed to the topmost detailed bank statent on the table. "Take a look at this information before you answer."
"Okay." Lucy, not knowing why, nodded and stepped forward, picking up the information Rock Bell ntioned.
At a glance, she saw her information written in the docunt, and looking further down, her face imdiately turned pale.
"Is this my bank information?" Lucy’s eyes repeatedly scanned the red-penned circles around those three deposit records, and suddenly cold sweat poured down.
Lucy’s heart panicked all at once; the entire deposit record, only these three were circled separately, which ans what she did has been discovered.
Lucy bit her lip lightly, her hand holding the thin piece of paper trembling continuously.
"Lucy, did you sell out Sister Jane’s notice arrangent, do you admit it?" Rock Bell directly asked.
