As soon as the video call connected, seeing the scene inside, Jane Sampson exclaid, "You’re at the Black Residence?"
"Yes." Jas Black responded, just as he wanted to speak to Jane Sampson, another head popped up behind him.
It was Peter Gingery.
"Little Jane, your grandparents are here too!" Peter Gingery grinned widely.
Then, Old Master Black pulled Peter Gingery aside, directly took the mobile phone from Jas Black, and walked over to Old Sir Carter and Granny Carter, holding the phone towards the lens to greet Jane Sampson.
"Little lass, we’re all here."
Then, Old Master Black and the others started chatting with Jane Sampson using Jas Black’s phone.
The four of them chatted away happily, while Peter Gingery, sitting a few ters away, could hear Jane Sampson’s laughter coming lively from the mobile phone.
Peter Gingery curiously glanced at Jas Black and, surely enough, saw Jas Black wearing a serious expression.
Yes, it was a serious expression.
He had waited a day for this mont to call his young wife, to see her through the phone, only to have it snatched away by soone. Peter Gingery thought, if it wasn’t Old Master Black doing this, at this mont, Jas Black would have started dealing with people.
After waiting for half an hour with no signs of Old Master Black and the others finishing their conversation, Jas Black slowly went upstairs and returned to the bedroom.
Back in the bedroom, he directly closed the door, did nothing else, and used the landline in the room to call Jane Sampson’s hotel room’s landline.
At that end, Jane Sampson was happily chatting with Old Master Black and the others on the mobile phone, when suddenly, the room’s landline rang. She was montarily surprised, thinking perhaps it was the hotel service calling for sothing.
She hastily said a word on the mobile, "Grandfather, Grandpa, Grandma, let take a phone call in the room first, I’ll chat with you later."
Jane Sampson took the mobile and went to answer the landline. Glancing at the caller ID showing a Capital Province number, she even thought the number looked sowhat familiar, so she picked it up.
"Hello, how may I help you?" Jane Sampson said softly.
She hadn’t anticipated hearing Jas Black’s familiar voice on the phone.
He said, "I feel terrible."
"Jas Black? It’s you!" Jane Sampson chuckled instantly, "I thought this number looked familiar! Turns out it’s the landline number of our room! Why are you using the room’s landline to call my room?"
"What do you think?" Jas Black retorted.
Jane Sampson laughed mischievously, "Oh, your mobile is with Grandfather! I’m chatting with them now, do you need urgently?"
"Yes." Jas Black didn’t hesitate to say this single word.
anwhile, in the living room at the Black Residence, Old Master Black, Old Sir Carter, and Granny Carter listened to Jane Sampson’s voice coming from the mobile phone, and understood who she was talking to after hearing a few sentences.
Old Master Black looked up towards Jas Black’s room upstairs and chuckled, "Gentlen with such a small mind?"
"It’s not a small mind, it’s a big jealousy." Granny Carter laughed, her face filled with even more wrinkles, "We took his mobile and stole his video call ti with Jane, of course he’s feeling terrible."
"Exactly, it’s big jealousy." Peter Gingery drew near, nodding repeatedly, "My brother is like an old iron tree blooming, his jealousy is more sour than most n, and he doesn’t even realize how childish his behavior is. Grandfather, had I snatched the phone earlier, I might have been buried by my brother by now."
