Opening Twitter, Jane Sampson went straight to the show’s official Twitter account to check, but the first tweet was no longer the thirty-second trailer, but a collection of emoticons that made Jane wish she could cover her own face...
Emoticons.
"Did the program crew make these emoticons?" Jane couldn’t help but find them hard on the eyes.
"Not exactly," Daniel Taylor said with a sly smile. "They were created by netizens who made their own emoticons from screenshots of the trailer video. Now, these emoticons are trending. This morning when I was scrolling through Monts, I saw a lot of people using them, especially yours."
Daniel Taylor’s eyes were almost slits from smiling so much. "You’re probably going to be the first actress to gain popularity through emoticons."
The happier Daniel Taylor laughed, the more Jane wanted to wallop him.
As Jane scrolled through the trending topics about emoticons, she couldn’t help feeling anxious, wondering if she would beco the first actress to be rejected for having an ugly emoticon?
Fortunately, after scrolling through hundreds of comnts, she didn’t find any such criticisms. She didn’t know if Rock Bell had been secretly purchasing comntary or guiding the discussion sohow, but Jane’s emoticons were indeed the most used among the several available.
The emoticon in question captured her during the first round of the ga, secretly observing her fellow gars’ reactions. It was an animated emoticon, showing her looking around stealthily. At that ti, her expression was quite dumbfounded, and even looked innocent.
The caption for the emoticon read: "This baby is so distressed."
Jane could only acknowledge that she was truly impressed by the creativity of the netizens.
Since the show hadn’t officially aired yet, the crucial aspects of the ga segnt hadn’t been disclosed. So at this ti, no one would think that Jane was the key player in the ga, the one whose decision would determine life or death for others.
In the comnts section, there were many remarks like:
"The piano little talented girl is so cute!"
"Sister Jane is so adorable!"
"Jane is my new goddess; she looks so good on cara, and she’s so slim!"
Comnts like these had Jane checking the comnts for other guests. She found that the netizens discussed them more than they did her. If she hadn’t ticulously scrolled through hundreds of entries, she might not even have found the tiny ssages her fans left. Though the quantity of comnts was less, Jane consoled herself with the fact that, for now, she didn’t have any haters.
The car couldn’t enter the film and TV base, so Jane got out at the gate entrance and walked in with Daniel Taylor.
Since Daniel Taylor was the Chief Director, he was already busy as soon as they arrived at the base. While Jane was visiting several makeup rooms, Daniel was already swamped with work.
"Goddess! Goddess!"
As soon as Jane entered the makeup room, she heard a sowhat familiar voice. Since the person was calling out "Goddess," Jane wasn’t sure if they were referring to her, so she didn’t respond and instead walked further inside.
When she saw Quincy Forest standing among the makeup artist team, tiptoeing and waving at her, Jane was caught off guard.
"How co you..." Jane quickly walked over and, the next second, got hugged by Quincy Forest.
"Surprise? I quit my job at the TV station. When I found out you were in this crew, I ca over!" Quincy Forest said, hands on her heart. "I watched the trailer last night; you look so beautiful on screen, just like in person. And I even saved your emoticon, it’s way too cute!"
"Wow, Jane," Olivia Chip joined in with a playful tease from over there. "Tell , is this your personal PR team you’ve paid to infiltrate the crew?"
