"Who’s there!" Suddenly, Grid shouted loudly towards the right.

Jane Sampson glanced over in that direction, just in ti to see a black shadow flash by, followed by the sudden sound of a car starting up urgently.

Everyone turned back to see a black SUV barreling toward the direction they were standing.

"Get out of the way!" Grid yelled loudly.

But the car was fast. Jane Sampson only had ti to pull Jas Carter, who was closest to her, back repeatedly, while Coco Edwards couldn’t avoid it and was about to be hit. At the critical mont, Grid grabbed her and rolled to the side.

The two rolled to the side together, Coco Edwards’s head hitting the nearby car with a loud bang, causing her to faint on the spot.

But Grid’s leg, unable to be pulled back in ti, was directly run over by the car’s right two wheels, causing Grid to break out in a cold sweat from the pain.

After a screech of brakes, the car stopped three ters away.

Seeing the two only a few ters away, Jane Sampson was frightened and let go of Jas Carter, wanting to run over and help them.

Grid, still conscious, struggled to stand, using the bumper of the car behind him. Seeing Jane Sampson approaching, he quickly shouted, "Don’t co over!"

anwhile, the car quickly turned around and charged back.

"Dodge! Don’t co over!" Grid shouted loudly, pushing Coco Edwards into the corner, heavily biting his teeth, pulling his numb leg back, and rolling into the gap of the car.

Another screech of ergency brakes, the car stopped where Grid had been lying, and a man wearing a Piggy’s mask, dressed in a white shirt and black trousers, got out of the car.

After getting out of the car, he didn’t head towards Grid, who couldn’t stand up, but instead walked step by step towards Jane Sampson and Jas Carter.

"Jane, run!" Jas Carter put Jane Sampson behind him, whispering to her, "I’ll hold them here, you go find Ratty and the others!"

Jane Sampson shook her head lightly.

It’s useless, with such a loud noise here, if Ratty could have gotten away, Ratty and Jas Carter’s assistant would have been here by now.

At this point, not seeing them co over, it must be that they can’t co.

Jane Sampson finally realized that this masked man was probably coming for her.

The earlier plea for help might have been a diversion tactic.

Including the white shadow that flashed by earlier, it might have been part of the ploy.

It was only because Grid wasn’t lured away that this person resorted to hitting Grid with the car.

"Jane, go now." Jas Carter urged anxiously.

But the man clearly wasn’t giving Jas Carter and Jane Sampson any chance to react, striding forward, he took out a handkerchief from his pocket and directly confronted Jas Carter, kicking away Jas Carter’s walking stick, swiftly covering Jas Carter’s nose with the handkerchief.

It only took a few seconds for Jas Carter to collapse to the ground, consciousness not fully dissipated, but he had no strength to get up again, his vision already blurring.

He kept repeating one sentence, "Jane, run~"

Jane Sampson clenched her fist tightly, turned around, and was about to run.
