Jane Sampson softly responded with a "hmm," not knowing if he could hear.
She could feel a warm moisture on her neck.
It was his tears.

When Jane Sampson heard it wasn’t because of her that Jas Black was exposed, she finally relaxed her anxious heart.

Pausing for a mont, Jas Black asked again, "Are you afraid?"
"Not anymore~" Jane Sampson gently shook her head, "With you here, I’m not afraid."
After enduring the ntal and physical tornt of the past few days, nothing could scare Jane Sampson anymore.
Even a few days ago, she was only afraid of never seeing Jas Black again.
And now, Jas Black was right next to her, holding her, talking with her, so she was not afraid of anything.
"I’ve already asked Auntie to buy ointnt, when she cos back, I’ll apply so dicine on your wounds so you’ll feel better." When Jas Black ntioned the injuries on Jane Sampson’s arm, his heart trembled, "Once we get you out, I will have my aunt take you to the hospital."
Jane Sampson loved beauty so much, Jas Black didn’t know how to comfort her.
Her arm had so many wounds, varying in depth, the biggest fear was the scarring.
But these wounds warned Jas Black that he had failed to protect her.
He failed his responsibility as a husband.
"I want to take a bath." Jane Sampson glanced towards the bathroom, using her gaze to ask Jas Black if she could, "I haven’t taken a bath in several days."
"I’ll carry you in." Jas Black had checked the bathroom, and there was nothing to guard against. He needed to apply dicine to her arm anyway, clean her arm’s blood to prevent infection.
