"I definitely won’t replace your bandage, you big pig’s trotter!" Jane Sampson patted Jas Black’s hand that was around her waist, "Let go, I want to leave!"
Jas Black’s eyebrows twitched.
Big pig’s trotter?
What does that an?
Even though he couldn’t fully understand what the term ant, it didn’t prevent Jas Black from grasping that it was a new insult Jane Sampson had picked up sowhere to scold him.
Nor did it stop Jas Black from knowing that Jane Sampson was angry.
She was angry because he had hidden his injury from her.
"It was very late when I got ho last night, I didn’t want you to worry, so I didn’t tell you," Jas explained, "It’s really just a minor injury."
Afraid that if he let go, Jane Sampson would run out the door and it would be hard to coax her back, Jas Black switched from hugging to holding Jane Sampson’s wrist with one hand, and with the other hand, he reached toward the bedhead cabinet, and like performing magic, pulled out a card and handed it to Jane Sampson.
"Take it."
Seeing that Jane Sampson wouldn’t take it, Jas Black directly and forcefully stuffed it into Jane Sampson’s hand.
Having personally given it to her, Jane Sampson certainly knew exactly what the item in her hand was.
Peace card.
Jas Black placed it in the bedhead cabinet drawer; she saw it when she ca back. There were three cards inside.
When Jane Sampson was bored, she thought about hiding them, but later decided to be generous and didn’t do it.
"Don’t be angry," Jas Black squeezed Jane Sampson’s palm.
Angry.
How could she not be angry?
Jane Sampson was almost puffed up like a round, angry pufferfish.
She should have hidden all three cards at that ti!
"Jane Sampson, as an adult, you need to have integrity." Jas Black used his strength and directly pulled Jane Sampson back, "What did you say back then? How is a peace card used?"
"If you give it to , I won’t be mad at you." Jane Sampson replied with a pout.
She understood the reasoning, but she was still so upset!
"The dicine and gauze are downstairs. I left them by the doorway when I ca in yesterday, go get them for to change the bandage." Jas Black seed to want to test if Jane Sampson was still angry, so he found sothing for her to do.
Seeing Jane Sampson still standing there motionless, Jas Black then stuffed another card into Jane Sampson’s palm.
Jane Sampson huffed, then looked down.
Kiss card.
"Give it back! I don’t feel like kissing you at all right now!" Jane Sampson angrily tossed the card back into the drawer, "Wait, I’ll go get your stuff."
After saying that, she turned and walked out, but a few steps later, she suddenly stopped, stood at the doorway, and glanced back at Jas Black.
It seed like she hesitated over sothing.
A few seconds later, she suddenly turned back, ran back to Jas Black’s side, leaned down, and kissed him on the corner of his mouth.
After the kiss, she reached out and took out the kiss card she had just thrown into the drawer and tucked it into her pajama pocket, then happily went out the door.
Jas Black touched the spot where Jane Sampson had just kissed him and clicked his tongue, "Not even five seconds, yet you shalessly took the card back."
Jane Sampson didn’t hear Jas Black’s complaint. She went downstairs and saw the carry-on bag Jas ntioned, which he had left by the doorway when he ca in late last night.
"Whose stuff is this? Early in the morning, left damp by the doorway?" Brooke Black ca out of the kitchen holding lemon water and asked Jane Sampson, "Is it yours, Jane? I thought the Great General had dragged sothing back early in the morning."
