Jane Sampson huffed, dodging Jas Black’s hand, and stomped off angrily.
"My legs are short? What part of my legs is short? My legs are not short at all!" she muttered, striding forward with all her might.
Turning to look at Jas Black, she took another step forward.
Then she turned around, facing Jas Black with a hum, raising her eyebrows for him to see how far she could step.
But when she saw Jas Black slowly lift his leg and, in one step, reach her side, Jane Sampson’s face changed.
"If you’re so capable, why not just try a split to see if your long legs can step off the earth and into the sky!" After saying that, Jane Sampson reached out to shove Jas Black and this ti truly ran off in anger.
Brooke Black, walking behind them, was nearly bursting with laughter. She walked up to Jas Black, giving him a pat, "Without Jane Sampson, you’d be single for a lifeti on your own strength."
Jas Black’s expression remained calm, not showing the urgency that might co with such teasing.
With humor in his eyes, he watched Jane Sampson a few steps ahead; her ponytail swayed with her steps at the back of her head.
Jane Sampson’s temper, it never lasted more than three seconds.
In no ti, she leisurely fell back beside him again.
"You say your legs are long? Then why are you walking so slow?" Jane Sampson asked, simultaneously wrapping her hand around his arm.
On this journey, they passed many waterfalls, yet none had that grand, majestic beauty.
Along the way, these waterfalls seed to have a more delicate charm instead.
The tour guide walked with Old Master Black and a few others up front, speaking loudly so that even slightly behind, Jane Sampson and the others could hear the guide’s comntary.
Around four in the afternoon, after viewing the last waterfall, they prepared to leave the tourism zone.
Passing a forked path, the tour guide stopped to give an introduction.
"As you can all see, both these paths lead in the sa direction, and after crossing the bridge ahead, they’ll rge. These two paths ford naturally, and these stone bridges have over a hundred years of history. There’s a legend: one bridge leads to matrimonial bliss; crossing it, marriage will be harmonious and last a lifeti. The other bridge leads to wealth; crossing it, wealth will flow like the endless water beneath."
After finishing her introduction, the tour guide stood next to them with a grin, watching everyone.
"Miss, which side is for wealth, and which is for marriage?" Brooke Black asked.
"Left for wealth, right for marriage," the tour guide answered.
Brooke Black and Father Gingery exchanged a glance and a smile, then leisurely chose the left side, arm in arm.
Jane Sampson practically had her ear glued to the guide’s answer.
As the guide’s words fell, she let go of Jas Black and bolted toward the left path.
But as fast as she was, Jas Black was even faster.
"Where are you running off to?" Jas Black tightly grabbed Jane Sampson, pulling her back, "Co back."
"Go left! Go left!" Jane Sampson insisted, pushing Jas Black’s arm, pointing towards the left path.
"Go right," Jas Black imdiately countered Jane Sampson’s choice, pulling her towards the right.
"Left! Left! I want money!" Jane Sampson stomped angrily, "Money, money, money! I want money! You go your way, I’ll go mine! Let go of ! Let go!"
"Are you in need of money?" Jas Black’s face darkened.
"Yes!" Jane Sampson responded loudly, "I’m almost broke lately!"
"It’s just a story people made up to entertain, and you believe it?" Jas Black snorted, "Are you foolish?"
